Anyone use one of these steering wheel trim switches from Dana/MIW? If so do you use the coil cord loom with it? How do you like it? Any problems?

I have one for the place diverter and one for quick small tab adjustments, in addition to the std dual trim switch. Running both tabs on the one switch will get out of phase with each other after a few full cycles. So I have to equal the tabs out every 3 or 4 full trim cycles.
My helm was not gun drilled so I use the coiled cord for both. The switches where out after a few years but you can get replacements.

I got my set-up used without the coil cord so I am not sure how it came stock. I imagine when you are changing out the broken switch you have to solder the switch back to the coil cord. Have you had any problems with the cord breaking at the solder joint?
