Steering Cable

My steering on my jet is pretty tight - even when on the trailer. I just removed the steering cable from the jet and it's still very tight to turn the wheel. Can these cables be serviced - or is it just a replacement?

I think they can take the cable out of the casing and just replace that for around 75 bucks or you can get a whole new cable for about 150.

I checked REX but their website did not list the moroso PN I had - but I will call, they took care of my hatch lag issue very well... Great company! I'll also call up JBP for a price.

I called JBP yesterday around 1:00 - Tom picked up and was one of the most friendly - knowledgeable people I have spoken to. Also, the part is here now, less than a day later. I'm sure it's the cable - the old one is seized all to shit, the new one is smooth.

Now for a holley (I hear the wife bitchin from here )
