My dumb ass brother in law tried to clean the sink with something at sometime and it has stained it pretty bad. I've tried the baking soda followed by vinegar and it didn't touch it. I can live with it but the wife can't as she does most the dishes and wants it resolved.
Any ideas before I rip this shit out and set a new one?

We use Bon Ami on ours from time to time. Don't know if it will help with your situation. The acid content in most toilet bowl cleaners tends to do more harm than good. I'd probably only try that as a last resort and then just apply and rinse immediately. Good luck.

Bingo!
Scrubbed this section for about 20 minutes with that and a scotchbrite pad. Gonna take some elbow grease but looks like it is going to get me where need to be.
Thanks all!

Try Bar keepers friend? Pontoon cleaner, forget the name. Find out what he used and stain it all evenly. Probably that purple power stuff.

THIS!!! I use it for the kitchen and all stainless steel. Put together A few images for customers. You creat a paste on a damp micro fiber. I sometimes use a chop strike to get into the corners. Then clean with dry cloth. Let me know if you have any questions.

Try wet sanding, follow the grain.
The benefit of a stainless sink is they scratch and dent but don't chip, you have to live with some of the patina.

Anyone ever refinish a porcelain sink? What's the best method?
