These guys built the V12 Jaguar powered ET boat that won the Parker 9 Hour Enduro along with a lot of other race boats. They also built Silverwing boats.

My Grandpa was Jerry Lembke one of the partners in Speed and Marine Associates. Their own lines were Continental Day cruisers, and later Silverwing boats.

Silverwing Whaler

Silverwing Tunnel. This is a true tunnel and probably one of the best handling boats I have ever seen.

Mike Mullins at Mirage has these molds and is building them here are the two latest. Dry hull weighs under 800 lbs. Speeds around 140 with 2.5 drags.

Sport C Tunnel a bunch of these went to Japan.

Bud Bailey was added to the fold when Spectra closed. He designed the Silverwing 27 and 34 that went on to become the Hallett 270 and 340.

Maxed out has this blue one for sale right now with twin 454's.

Do you know if these Sport C's were raced in indoor arenas? I knew a guy that went over there to drive in those events back in the 80's.

All the boats were identical and it was set up like horse race betting but they bet on the drivers.

Cool family history for sure, I'd love to have one of the Silverwing Whalers.

Hey Bruce many manufacturers built a whaler Nordic, Howard, Campbell, Silverwing, Eliminator, Schiada. That said nobody built a ton of them.

Drag boat city has this Howard for sale:

Had to make matching mounts.
