This movie rates better than some of the junk I’m guilty of watching. Two thumbs up from me.

O.U.R. Is a very worthwhile cause to donate to. Been following and supporting their work for 8-9 years. Need to get out and see the movie this week.

We saw it last night and highly recommend it. Was difficult to watch at times knowing this stuff is really happening to our children.

I want to see it but it’s deep.
But I’ll go to support it and give a finger to Hollywood. Jim caveziel is on a lot of podcasts. Interesting guy. Holds his faith and beliefs with ZFG.

We liked watching his series "Person of Interest" on TV that ran from 2011-2016. He did a fantastic job in "The Passion of the Christ:"

Looks like "The Passion of the Christ: Resurrection" is coming out in 2024 with Caviezel and being directed by Mel Gibson.

I've listened to Tim Ballard on numerous podcasts. The stuff he talks about is stomach churning. Don't know if I want to see the movie or not based on that alone.

Just, if you can’t hang, leave. That’s probably what the wife will do. She was fanatically paranoid about it in the day. Her sister took our girls to the mall while she was watching them. Holy crap, the unleashed fury on her sister….

You have to be STRONG for her... Be a warrior for her.. Knowing & SEEING the truth of what really goes on in this world will be your fuel, to destroy the evil that exists...
I feel ya though.. WE cannot let the evil win...

I agree 100%. I worked in EMS on an Ambulance for 8 years. I always prided myself on being able to cope and see things as they were.

That all flew out the window when I became a Dad to a baby girl!

Saw it yesterday afternoon - theater was packed - every seat sold. It is a powerful movie/message but it's not horrific which it could have been had they shown actual pedophilia.

Go see it just to send a message that (1) this is the kind of movie that needs to be made and (2) this is an issue that needs to be addressed by those in power - you know, the ones who secretly support or condone pedophilia and human trafficking

Check out the box office take:

The company that was willing to shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly to fight against a law protecting parental rights and making it harder to sexually groom elementary school children shelved it...

Angel Studios President Jordan Harmon recently detailed that The Walt Disney Company shelved the upcoming Sound of Freedom film after they obtained the rights in their merger with Fox.

By the way, Disney loves pedos...click here --> Disney Pedos – Area Ocho

Will definitely see it. Not sure if it will be in a theater or rent at home.

Keep in mind, it's likely that nobody has done more to promote human trafficking than our very own president and his corrupt band of losers.

Ho Le Fuck...

Just tried to get seats for today. NOT HAPPENING!!!

Word must be getting around...
I'm glad to hear that. Saw it @ 10:00 am at Cinema Star in Havasu with about 15 other people.:( I liked it, very powerful, but I had an easier time staying composed than I thought I might.

Tough movie to watch. But it is a must see.
It captured the entire theater. No one talking. No noises from people’s snacks. It was an overwhelming silence.

Wish there was more we could do—but starting to watch what and where your money supports is a big start.

This movie wrapped filming in 2018( before Q was a thing) and when the pedophiles over at Disney bought 20th century Fox, they shelved it and refused to release it..

You know...I was thinking about this movie days after seeing it and thought--it did not go far enough.
The movie actually plays it safe.
The movie distances child abductions, sex trafficking and adjacent crimes away from America. Yes--we get to see America come to the rescue and play a hero, but this country is guilty of these exact crimes.

Yes, based on a true story. But, I am sure that there are other true stories that depict those same crimes but here on US soil.
Still commend their bravery for telling the story--but could not help but feel the actual truth was missed. That the story albeit sad, uncomfortable and disheartening--many left the theater feeling safe that this did not happen here. It shows a 3rd world country so we can process that it happens there and we can feel bad for those poor little kids--cause ours are home safe watching Netflix.

The real story of what happens in the US needs to be made and told--but I am not naïve and know that story will never be made as it would name to many well known people, politicians, athletes, leaders and mega events (i.e. superbowl, F1, Worldcup, etc.. ). Every year there are thousand traffic to cities that hose these mega events.

IMO the real "special message" at the end of the movie should be just that. This is happening in your neighborhood, town, city, state and you can help by looking for the clues and saying something.

My rant and .02

I thought the same thing. One of my best buddies spends 100% of his time investigating sex trafficking in Orange County. 100%, and there are plenty of cases to dig into. This is not a foreign issue.
