I did these a couple weeks ago and finished right before Memorial day and headed out. I planned to do a thread but got crunched on time.

I can't take credit for the design, the client supplied excellent CAD that I machined right off of it with no changes.

Top side done.

This one is the setup part. Apparently when you are in a hurry, a .29 drill is close to the same size as a .19 drill. Damn newbie.....

That's OK, I managed to jack this one up two more times after that.

Oops.

Tools and talent! Some people are lucky to have one or the other. In my case, I'm just lucky enough to know some people that have one, the other or in rare occasions, both.
It's probably just something different for you to do, but most of the population has no idea what's involved, let alone how to do it:)

What are we making?

Lots of parts in stock. :)

Billet pedals, Billet transom bearings, billet engine cases, billet flywheel covers....

I wish you would build me something out of billet [emoji39]

how accurate is the diameter at the quadrants (reversal comp)? circle interpolation hardest thing to get accurate with CNC

We had a similar situation with the outboard on our Baker Tunnel a few years ago. I saw the pictures and thought that yours was the same part. Ours is actually for the snorkels on the outboard and the hydraulic lines (Jackplate and Hydraulic steering). Same basic idea and it has worked out great!

Your machined part looks awesome!!

Just a thought :D:D

Is it flat on the bottom or is there two protrusions on the bottom as well?

Kind of hard to tell from the pics?

On the front of that plate it almost looks like it bends up or gets thicker?

Got anymore pics of that?

No installed pics yet, big brown truck is delivering tomorrow.

@Ultra247 called it right, they are the control and cable flanges for the transom on a DCB Mach 22 with twin outboards. I de-rrigged the boat to have the hull half capped, figured I could clean things up a bit with a new billet piece to replace the quad single flanges.

I do believe this boat needs a build thread and close-ups of Brian's execution of your design as well.

Good thing my phone is waterproof cause I'm sure I'll be drooling over those pictures (I fucking love DCB and Eliminator 22's with twins). Here's one I saw up here at Naci this past weekend. Twin 300x's

No shit right? You would think with my eyes closed I should be able to notice the difference in size. When I checked the diameter of the counter sink I was thinking, WTF? How could the diameter be right.....? fuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk.....

It's flat with the flanges for the tubes and holes for the hoses. It has a nice chamfer around the outside to give it a blend.

Anyone else want to show their setup? :)

We need Milfy in here to do a full build thread to do a total derail.

Would you rather us post pics of luxury Steering wheels? :)

Its a great idea, and I would have certainly bought your product if it was available at the time of my rigging. This is good publicity.

Yessir, lets see them, in their thread of course. ;)

This one it isn't "my" product perse, I machined it off of the clients own CAD for his own use. :)

Oneoffshit, or twooffshit, in this case. ;)

The boat is in Havasu. Let me know anytime you want to see it. We did the lower river run with it a few years ago and hope to catch the next one!

Would love to show it off.
