[WTS] (SOLD) Mercury 2.5L 280

Selling my 1999 Mercury 2.5L 280 in perfect mechanical/cosmetic condition. Motor runs great and sounds even better on the water. Lightened alien cowl, CLE gear case, 20” bass mid. Motor was completely gone through by Bruce Dean at Bruce Dean Marine with no issues. New spark plugs, One season on injectors I had cleaned and flow tested, one season with brand new impeller in gear case. Always ran half av-gas/91 octane mix with mercury performance plus oil at 32:1.

I’ve only ran this motor for about two seasons and never abused it. Always has been show room condition and meticulously maintained.

*Please note the motor is still on my boat and would de-rig once a potential deal has been made.*

Would be interested in trading for a complete 225-300XS Optimax (given equivalent condition).
