WELCOME TO RIVER DAVES PLACE

So which one of you got the scoreboard and bleacher contract for the "temporary" site 6?

I guess launch ramp fee's are waived for a while? It's the offseason but...who wants to go throw some numbers in lawn chairs with some cold ones??? (2023 is an obvious typo bc its closed now etc...)

Those you paid the annual fee, normally don’t launch between now and March 15.
This is a way to bring folks in, who might spend money in the shop and on gas, during the slowest time of the year.

The people who go to Site 6 to launch their boat for free aren’t buying overpriced gas from a dock, and will only go to a marina store if it is an emergency or it is the only thing open. 😂

And yea it would piss me off that 1/4 of my annual pass time was now free to everyone.

Here is proof - if your pass expired now now would you renew now, or wait until March 16?

Anyway, everyone should go to the Riviera. It is the best place to launch your boat and is now free.

So any company that gives a first time customer, service for free, for a limited time, should refund equal amount to its current customers that already paid?

So if you had a country that lets in first time visitors by the millions and gives them services and resources for free, paid for by taxpaying citizens, the taxpaying citizens should be happy about it? 🤣

Again - if your annual Riviera pass expired today, would you renew today or March 16? We both know the answer.

" As we continue construction at Site 6"

Seems possible that the Riviera group may have levereged the free launch for people as an added value to the city to award them the contract for site 6??? I dont recall anyone doing anything for free these days...

Time will tell, hope they don’t start charging us. Poor folks with rotted out bay liners and rotted out teeth gotta go somewhere. 🥴

And piss off your current customers who paid $400/yr.
@Englewood at least they thanked you, and the rest of us (pass/slip) for making it possible.. 👀

As stated, it's a way of getting some extra business during the slow season. It's not just the Site 6 crowd that may take advantage of this offer. As a Windsor pass holder, if I launch during this free time, I will use Riviera just because I can. Well, and because it's nicer. Who knows, it may even convince me to spend the extra $200 and renew at Riviera rather than Windsor when my pass expires.
