So my buddy was moving his daughter to San Diego yesterday

and right after they crossed the California line he looked in the rear view mirror and saw what he at first thought was a yellow tarp flapping on the front of the trailer.....it wasn't a tarp, it was flames! He quickly pulled over and was able to unhook the trailer and pull his truck away, but by then the trailer was completely engulfed in flames. All they could do was stand there and watch everything she owned burn. By the time firemen arrived there wasn't much left but the warped remains of the trailer. Yesterday was also her birthday. I guess the bright side is no one was hurt and he was able to save the truck.

In Calif the tow vech's insurance "flows to the trailer" as our rep told us.

I guess moving a daughter this time of year means she's going to school.
We're only a few hours away if we can help any.
Have utility trailer/will travel.

TBI are you going to the "Lake" this coming week ? I hope to make it there next year. I was going to come with the Crower family this yr as a crew mate but Bruce Crower got gravely sick and took many months to recover so his two project's didn't get worked on.

Hopefully next yr I'll be there and my dad is looking at a modified Street Roadster to buy to go 200 mph that he wants my brother or me to drive. It was alway's a dream of his to go to Bonivelle he has the money now, but doesn't want to drive that fast at 71 so he's looking for a lamb ( sacrafical) to do it. My brother and I said "OK". You should have seen the look on our wives faces

What kind of truck did they have? I had a buddy that was taking all his stuff to school from Parker and his trailer caught fire and burned to the ground also, as well as the truck. He was driving a Titan and it turns out that Nissan has a recall on the Titan's trailer wiring. It burns up. lol
