Over the weekend, my friend Peggy tells me about some nut job chick her bro just broke up with.

Apparently she went on FB, and created a profile in her bros name!

Started posting all kinna crazy shit about him coming out of the closet and being gay, and some other shit about his boss and he almost got fired for it!

They have tried persistantly to contact FB, and they say then can't do much about it.

Peggy went to the lawyers office where this bitch works, and had a talk with her boss about what shes doing. Maybe that will help.

So if you dont have a FB account, you might wanna make one, even if you dont use it!!!

Just google "facebook lawsuit fake"...there are tons of lawsuits over fake facebook profiles, so there's some legal precedent for a lawsuit.

In 2011 Cali passed a law making it illegal to impersonate another person online.

such other, is guilty of a felony.

Dirty trick but I doubt it rises to the level of a lawsuit. Proving actual damages would be next to impossible, especially if the victim does not have an online profile/footprint to start with.

He might be able to get LEO involved, but usually cybercrime LEO's chase auction fraud and other white-collar type crimes.

I know a guy that got into it with his business partner and that guy made a Facebook profile in his name saying he was a rapist. The guy didn't even know till I told him I saw it where Facebook does that you may know this person.
When I called him I said hows your dating life going? LOL
