I had a 29 fountain with twin 454’s, but when they first came out they didn’t include the swim platform and it was a 27.
Hustlers 26 was available with twin big blocks
Wellcrafts 26 Nova was available with twin big blocks
4 Winn’s 241 had twins not sure if you could get big blocks?

Anyone else?

Also smallest boat available with twin I/O’s?

'91 Fountain 29' Twin 465HP, Bravo 1, (no step, only 27' running surface or as I was told by those in the know). Sweet beast in a light to moderate chop. At speed, it's was a driver's boat. Beat on her like a drum...:D

Was thinking they were small blocks, no?

I thought I heard they were 1400hp each BBC but that could just be talk. Either way that boat has always been one of the most over the top badass boats I’ve ever seen. There isn’t much in my mind that compares to that thing, I wish Mike would or was able to run it in the Enduro again.

I always got the "your boat is sinking" in idle zones due to those lard-ass big blocks.:D You back her down hard the sun pad would get a washdown.

After a freshen up to get rid of the 502 metric ring dealio, pistons, heads freshened, etc...etc. OR and four brave unsuspecting passengers hit 92 into the wind.

There was a one and only Mirage 257 Trovare [actual 24' to 25'7" with built in swim platform ] ever built with twin 454's.
Mine was built with twin 383 S/C for the owner of Mirage boats in 1990.

It also had twin Merc diesels in it before I got it with new 6.2 MPI's in 2003.

Small blocks, he pulled it back out in June or so of this year to get it ready for battle again.
Was going with even bigger power small blocks requirement for Worlds I believe
I want this boat bad.
Is this the one that had 400+cid sbc motors in it? I think the motors were up for sale, and new 300ish cid units in it for some international race rules. Very nice looking setup!

Just know they’re small blocks ( requirement for worlds or something ) old motors were healthy af and new ones were supposed to be even better.

Mike used to practice behind my vector w Nick Marotta.

I can't say it's the smallest, but I believe the 20' Campbell "Renegade" was rigged with twin Big Block Chevrolets. They were "freight trained" and not your typical "twins" set-up though.

Some very cool twin engine BBC back in the late 1960s and early 70s. RD is partially correct about the "KuitYurBitchen" boat (sp?), it was a twin BBC V-drive "K-Boat" owned and driven by Gary Carroll out of Watsonville, CA. Campbell was also involved in some twin BBC set-ups back then. Ski racer Ralph Muravez had a 20' Campbell with twin in-line BBCs. Ed DeLong raced a 24' Campbell in the late 1960s with twin BBCs, side-by-side dual V-drives (a few years later DeLong became the founder and co-owner of Spectra Boats -- Ed's real business was Spectra Color Lab in the San Fernando Valley). And, Barry "Banzai" McCown purchased Les Kepler's 24 Spectra, mid-1970s (originally powered with twin in-line small blocks rigged by Rick Fowler at the Spectra factory) and then proceeded to swap the small blocks for big blocks.

It was on the trailer for the Elsinore Ski races this year. Hadn’t seen it in a long time and it looked amazing. Glad to hear it might be coming back.

Years ago Sutphen made their 26' Rum Runner available with twins
They tried BBC and Bravo drives but the SBC and Alpha had better balance.
Not sure how many were built with BBC.

Wow. Wow wow. Watched Mike run at Parker ski race years ago. Those torque numbers make sense, because he pulls skiers w/ boat trimmed flat getting a smoother, wide wake for skier. And at that, it's hauling big time. Didn't see it run the Enduro. Curious if that hull can trim up for more efficiency. It's a one off design. I think it's the Wellscraft? (Marty Wells design) bottom. There are a few of them still running occasionally. "Angry Bird" is a Wellscraft.

Like this CV ? Those were usually single big blocks!? Knew someone in our poker run group with a grey 28 with single BB. 30' Panthers were twin big blocks.

Windshield is not as round but color and graphics are almost identical. From my understanding, it was extremely limited production.

I used to play around in one with the same hull as his but a couple years newer and had twin 350 mpi gen+'s in it

Both are extremely fun boats.

Wow, 4 winns 241 liberator. It was a wide body 102" beam
I sold 4 winns for years. The 211 liberator was the hot sell at the time. I drove the 261 Liberator with 454 mags
They even tried making a "baby" eliminator out of the 19
OMC King Cobra was popular at the time
