Small Business SEO - Who do you use?

I can't keep up with our Search Engine Optimization and my competitors are beating us to the punch. I haven't even looked at it in 2 years and it shows.

Do any of you small business owners have a guy or company you use? Not someone to throw more $$ at Google but can investigate our competitors, make a plan, keep up with it, and modify as needed?

Probably too much to ask in that industry :rolleyes

What industry? we use a company that's worked pretty good over the last couple of years. They even have a tool that analyzes my competitors sites and compares them.

G'day 454Rocket, shoot me a PM. We're about to start a deal for a solar installer out of SD, and have a lot of experience doing "local" SEO for small businesses as well as more complicated national-level stuff.

I worked for a few big companies and agencies and went solo two years ago with my buddy and partner. We're very reasonable and have a great track record. One of our business rules is we only take on employees and clients that we like and wouldn't mind having a beer with, which we usually do

Also, I'm new on here and don't want to promote myself beyond what I already did. I'm sure there's other awesome SEOs that RDP members have used. Almost all of our clients in the past two years have been from referral alone so I'd rather do a great job for you and have you do the talking for me once you're killing it online.

Had another opportunity through a long time team member not materialized, Todd would be our guy. We were very impressed with his capabilities and portfolio of work. Cost is in line with market rates. Would highly recommend him to anybody looking for comprehensive SEO strategy & implementation combined with web design capabilities, especially in the Phx area.

For starters, before anyone can do a whole lot, you need tons of content and blog articles as well as links back to your site. If anyone promises quick results, run. This is a 6-18mo strategy.
