It had an enclosed capsule with AC. Saw one at the LA Boat Show years ago, never saw one on the water.

There is alot of positives to say about the simplicity of smaller boats. Only real reason we sized up was so we didn't break our backs on the sea of Havasu.

For the river, I could easily see myself in an 18 ft boat. Now if ya boat Havasu on the weekends....... not so much. I purchased a 23 Eliminator a couple years ago. Even though it’s 23 ft, it’s not really a big boat. It’s fairly narrow and has a much smaller feeling than expected. I dig it so far!

I'm going to duck and cover before I say it . . . But, I still think that Sea Doo Switch makes sense for a lesser expensive entry level boat. But, that handlebar steering has got to go away. Appears the tri hull rides well.

My favorite boat. Bought it in 1989 for $5500.00. Ran it ten seasons with only doing normal maintenance and replacing the forward reverse cable.

Sold it for $5000.00 to get this. Also was a good boat with a 350 Mag and a Bravo.

Setting aside cost, hassle (cleaning, trailering, maintenance), need (family, friends), conditions (offshore, LOTO), use (poker runs), my dream boat still probably wouldn't be over 28'. And probably more like 21'.

I know. It blows my mind seeing people on the water in 40’ plus MTI Skater etc. boats fully clothed matching shirts shorts socks n shoes stepping out on a dock at the river never even enjoying the actual water. Boy times have changed.

Hands down the best boat I ever owned....all composite, all fiberglass/gel floor etc. (2014 Sea Ray 185 sport). Idk what the future holds..but I will own something similar again. While I like my x-flight...I'd go back to this in a heartbeat, I've always regretted selling it.

boating for me pretty much means the following...

spending 2 hrs in the morning getting the boat ready
getting on the water, finding a spot in the gorge to post up
drink 1 beer
spending 4 hrs wiping down the boat and polishing chrome / alum in the sun
heading back home
spending 30-45min wiping the boat down at the launch
spending 2 hrs detailing the boat in the garage

I’ve owned an 18’ runabout, 2 jet skis, a 22’ pontoon and a 27’ cruiser with twin IO’s. I’ve also rented a 34’ cruiser and a 50’ Meridian, each of which we spent a week on. The bigger the boat, the more “enjoyable” they’ve been. The smaller the boat, the more “fun” they’ve been. If that makes any sense(?).
