I was wondering if the RDP brain trust can enlighten me on plus and minus between the 24, 26 and 28 enforcers. The wife and I are looking to upgrade from our 202 Carrera XR. It’s just the wife and I with the occasional couple with us. We want something that will ride comfortable through the busy weekend cop. The 24 seems like it might be a little small for that, the 26 would be capable and the 28 would be the Cadillac. The 30 heritage I know would crush it, but is a lot of boat. I also wonder about power for each, we would like to cruise in the 50’s. I’d like to be able to do mid 60’s. Any information would be appreciated.

Stay away from the stepped 26, they are pigs.

I have friends with both the 24 and 26. Both have 496ho. In them. The 24 is a tall boat considering length. It does well in havasu. The 26 does very well in havasu and has plenty of room inside. Both barely touch 65-68. The 26 is faster than the 24.

Did either of them have tabs? I know they made a difference on my carrera. Sounds like speed is where we want to be.

No neither one has tabs, both ride very well. My boat has tabs and I feel like neither one needs them.

I loved my 30’ Sleekcraft, it definitely wasn’t fast but it was a great cruiser. The 28’ is a great size but the only downside for me was no built swim step.

I didn’t realize the 30 had a built in swim step. I thought they all had the three bullet steps. Just curious what does it cruise at? What’s WOT and with what power?

Yeah huge swim step. I was usually cruised 45-50 and max would be somewhere in the mid 60’s with a 496.

I have a sleek as well. Love the boat. Won’t break any speed records over 65 however.
