I'm not sure, but it's a good thing he doesn't have to pay for film developing. Christ, I think I saw every inch of the boat.

Cool boat.
Classic colors like what Danny was putting on his DCM's...but then we get to the interior, not a fan of that Silver Wing's interior at all.

If he really wanted to sell it, he'd post it in the classifieds here with a video and some random numbers.

The hull is like a Spectra 20 ,only the topside in the rear goes all the way to the back. So, it can be called a new model;).

Posting expensive things for sale on this site requires an 18-inch lift, an 40-inch tires :rules

Fairly clean lookin' rig, but why did they hand paint all the switch indicators on the dash?

Silverwing's are a Spectra 20 Splash, although I had heard in years past they were stretched a foot. Jim Wilkes of Wilkes marine owns the molds to them and built a few back in the day.

When you guys are done being dipshits, there's actually some interesting things on that boat.. Hard to tell from the pics but it almost looks like it has a delta pad in the back. I'd be curious to know how that runs compared to the straight Vee in a v-drive. Boat is actually pretty bitchen from a cruiser stand point, although yes I digress the interior is a bit.. "different."

I might be missing a few things, but I believe this was the Silver Wing built by Speed & Marine. There were two brothers that owned it (Lembke?) that died coming home from a race. Wilkes got the mold and he built a few (Designer did the interior work on them when I worked there).

Jimmy mentioned it was a Spectra bottom and that they just stretched the opening to make the interior a bit bigger. They were all well built boats.;) I liked the old interior in this boat better than the new setup.:headscratch:

Mitch and his father Jerry Lembke were the best riggers in the 70's and 80's kind of like Prime Marine today. They were top GN racers and the last inboard to win the Parker Enduro ( ET 79 the Jaguar boat ) You could not purchase a finer quality v-drive boat in Southern Calif in there era. I would bet Schiada Stan would agree. I did lots of paint work for them and raced with them in those days. Mitch and Jerry were killed on the way to the Walker Lake Nevada race in June of 1985. I usually went to the races with them in those days, but it was the same weekend as the Burley Idaho race. I had a ride in a new sprint boat in Burley. Mitch was one of the most sincere and honest business men I have ever met.

You could not purchase a finer rigged boat.. My only question would be who actually rigged this boat ? They died prior to the manufacture date on the boat. Unfortunately the sponsor of Silver Wing boats Todd Fitchon passed away of colon cancer a few years later, and Wilkes Marine ended up with the tooling.

RIP Mitch and Jerry. ET 79 rocked.

I have the same boat as this. Ours is called a Continental. This boat is longer and wider than a spectra. Ours is an actual v-bottom unlike this one with the pad like center. And yes that interior isnt something!! There is an ad on PB that has pics of it with older interior that was classic tuck and roll. Much better looking IMHO.

Only built a few of them.. There was one with twin whackers side by side. Growing up my friends dad had "purple haze" in the keys which was a two turbo I/O with I think a Volvo drive on the back.. Bad ass boat back then.

Sure looks like a pretty steep shaft angle for a boat that "could" do a 100MPH with a few little changes but ya never know until you try it... Good luck with the sale as it is a nice looking boat...
