Launched yesterday for our granddaughter’s first river trip. Daughter picked me up from the dock and said something was beeping every few minutes. Turns out we sucked up a chunk of Havasu’s finest weeds. Didn’t have BCM’s number so sent an IG message. Within the hour had two calls from them and dropped it off. Fixed in time this morning to get back on the water for her first boat trip. Turns out she loves loud boat motors😁. Thanks for saving our weekend BCM.

Wow. Where do you think you picked that up? While launching? (From where) or idling some place else and only became a problem shortly after?

BCM has always been good to me.

Yeah, right outside Windsor. Daughter pulled it off the trailer and ended up drifting around longer than usual due to the crowd. It was pretty packed trying to pick up at the dock. Must have been somewhere near the buoy line. 😬.

I wonder how long you have to know AJ or how much $$ you have to spend at his shop yearly before you get that kind of service?
I'm asking for a friend, Lol
I called him once on his cell when doing a delivery for Ultra in 2008.
He came down to the channel and resolved the customer issue in minutes.
Customer blew the main fuse on his new 525.

sux it happened, cool BCM came through for you and gotcha back on the water quickly. I won't ask what the service rate/hr. is for holiday repairs as it's clearly pricelss.

Need to dry that and put it in a little clear bottle with a cork and any shells your grand daughter picked up for her first river trip as a memento and conversation starter. 😂
Great idea. We’ll make sure it stays somewhere, somehow.

AJ went out of his way to get me going when I had an issue at Lake Powell. I didn't know him and had never been to BCM before. He saw me trying to deal with an issue at the dock, asked what was going on, and helped me out. He is one of the good guys in the boating industry

How did you get his cell phone number, or the shop mail line is being forwarded to his cell phone after hours?

It’s one hell of a lot less than you’d come to believe. My boat has never been in his bays, i have bought a few things, fluids impellers etc, from him is it. I had issues in Havasu called his shop he was out off the property so they said they’d give him a message when he got back. I sent him a message on instagram and within 5 minutes my phone was ringing from his cell phone, hell yes i saved it, but he walked me through the issue and i was on the water the next three days of the regatta.
That shop is ran as a family and you feel it walking through the door when you’re greeted by his dog. AJ is a young man but the father of that shop and he’s killing it, it’s not just his knowledge and ability to get boats in and out but his care towards any customer big or small.

I really enjoy seeing AJ’s success!
Many years back (HotBoat daze) he was turning a wrench in Havasu when I first met him through some mutual friends. He knows how to make people happy!
I would see him often but one year at the LA Boat Show things were pretty quiet and I still remember sitting on a barstool in a booth talking about his next opportunity (BCM). He was contemplating an opportunity to go work for himself. He had some big supporters at the time guiding him and obviously highly trusted and respected!
I remember telling him that it would be an awesome leap! Do it!
AJ, i know you will see this… but I am so proud and happy for you. Your work ethics, morals and commitment to your customers is what makes you stand out! Keep up the solid work!

You can talk price as much as you want, but service with knowledge wins EVERY TIME. His business shows this. Congrats to a well run organization!!!!!!!!!!
