Just called to book an appointment to get the shocks done and a steering rack. They are booked through mid September. Got an appointment in early October, but booked all the way to September is crazy. Going to be a busy season coming up of this economy holds...

Did you try calling any of the folks in Havasu or Ed the suspension guy?

I found that a few month ago - called them and they were three weeks out - called back two week later and they were 3 months out - going in June 21 to get the shock internals worked over. Added springs a few months back, can't believe how much it improved the car's performance. My stock springs on my XP PRO 4 were shot in 500 miles.

^^^ yeah I was surprised they were booked out that far, but October works for me. They called me this morning to see what parts I already had so they could finish the invoice.

I am doing springs, internals, front and rear sway bars and the steering rack. I already have their links and limit straps so they were on the ball figuring out what I did not need.

Their rack is nice. I have read that install can be a little bit of a headache. They are charging me 3 hours of labor which will be worth it IMO.

Good springs make an incredible difference to all these cars. Friend picked up a basic 1000 XP4 that was someone’s garage queen with 200 miles on it in 4 years. I found a set of Eibach springs locally for a deal and we threw them on. The difference in performance and ride was nuts.

Only 300 miles on our Can Am and the factory springs are already starting to sag. The factory springs are crap.

I upgraded my lower A arms and added the Keller ball joints when the car was brand new.

I ran the stock upper ball joints on the stock arms but just recently added the Keller ball joints to the stock upper arms.

on long rides I carry spare joints for just in case, upper and lower

the big thing is don’t hit any rocks.... 👍

Yea xp4 lower ball joints seem to last around 2500-3000 miles if not abused. I did the SuperATV chromoly ball joints on the lowers and run the stock uppers.
