Looking for outside, color, HD, hard wired cameras for my house.
Need to have good night vision range, that comes with at least (4) cameras and a DVR.
Is anyone here using a similar system that you are happy with?

I’ll be following.
I’m interested in a hardwired DVR setup with motion detection and push notifications.
I was given a ring camera for Christmas, and I had one on the last house, but I wanted to try and get away from a cloud based system.

if its in Havasu don't waste your time or money on most of the over the counter kits you see. Those cameras don't last long in our heat. Go with a commercial setup and install from the get go and learn from others mistakes lol

I used Bulletproof for mine and a few friends all with great results.

If its not here and a more normal climate, the best I've used is Lorex. Their systems are pretty good quality, easy install, and their app interface is nice too.

For self installed it is difficult to beat Night Owl 4K IP cameras with an NVR. I have two like this, both flawless. I just did screen shots, see attached. You can zoom in because of the high quality of the cameras ands NVR. As you could see it’s quite possible to see the face of someone behind the wheel of a car about 100 feet up if not more.

I have Vivint and am very happy with them, four cameras, three garage door openers, two key pad door locks, and a full alarm. Was 2000$ installed and is 39.99$ a month monitoring. I can access everything on my phone set notifications in zones out the camera, all kinds of stuff. And the cameras are great clarity.

Havasu Wiring is a source for both recommendations and installation. They’ll be setting up a camera system for me next week. They came highly recommended by several I trust.

I'll second and 3rd the Reolink setup... I have a system that's a few years old and still works and looks great.

Upon my recommendation my partner at work got their newer 4k system and it puts mine to shame. Incredible picture and zoom.

Just don't try to reach them when you need assistance. They never call you back or get upset when you do.

I'm actually getting ready to rip out all of my camera stuff it's 8 years old and failing. Luckily my brother was partially invested with a low voltage company and they sold it. Needless to say I ended up with some nice free cameras and a new dvr. Not going to complain about some free ptz auto tracking cameras. I think they're only 720 though. But I'll do a new 4K IP by the front door.

Subscribed.. Looking for a system currently. We have Ring at home. It works good. Had the doorbell so just added cams to watch the other entrances.
Looking for a little better quality for the next system. I was hoping Arlo would work but now I’m not sure with the Havasu heat.

Not my experience at all, Chad always calls back and in most cases, it was something I messed up. Excellent customer service for us for over 8 years.

I was dealing with Lorne. Got him another job besides the one i was requesting. Second request for another job I needed done I'm still waiting for a quote. That was June of 2018. Asked him two more times for his quote and I still never heard from him. So I'm done trying to give him money. Just my 2 cents.

I just went through this. I went to Best Buy and spent $1000 on the 4K Arlo system. All wireless.
Batteries last about 4-8 weeks depending on traffic, then need recharge. The App works great.

Best Buy had at least 6 of the major camera companies displayed in one section. Made price shopping simple.

I have now eight Reolink Argos2 with solar, between my lake house and home, they work great! We’re in Oregon so we don’t get the sun some do, but the batteries are always at 100%.

in a different life I used to be in the telecom business and we had just started installing Hikvision and the were pretty damn good for the price.

How would you rate these and what would you consider their equivalent??
If I'm selling a job I use Hikvision, med price with great results. I like to install and not have to return

Brand new in box, only opened, nothing removed.Paid $500. It’s 3 year old technology. Good little system. I kept putting it off to install, decided I needed more cameras, and just forgot about it. I am thinking about installing it at Havasu when snowbirds leave just for the hell of it rather than sitting. $200

Cloud access and storage...no thanks.
If you think this is an isolated incident, you’re crazy...
