What's the gossip on a bid for the Worlds in 2017? What possible race sites and logistics?

Seattle, not many up that way that know or participate in ski racing. But on a side note I would love to race one the columbia river.

I live up here and ski on the Columbia all the time. it would be great for a river race but not an event like the Worlds. Too much river traffic
( picture a Pittsburg or Antioc race on steroids. Freighters and Barge traffic all day.)

Good news about Seattle tho.. Great venue! large bay, crappy water ( rough!) and all around great city to have it in.

Yesterday ( or todays) results:

From The World team FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/US-Water-Ski-Racing-Team/264360436927161

After a long wait for jury results all the results are final. Katelin 3rd, Todd 2nd, Cameron 3rd, and Martie 2nd. Great day for team USA with all team members putting up great points for team totals. Overall a great day of racing by all competitors. Looking forward to some rest and another day of racing Wednesday.

Just busting your balls Dave.
We all want to see a Davina comeback. Start training for the Seattle worlds F2 class. Bud has a boat that can pull you.

Oh yes, the pain of skiing in a mens class ( unblown prop) that the great minds of the NWSRA placed in the womens heat...

I think the plan is to train Casey ( my youngest) for a shot at the Jr boys.. Im no Martie, that dude is an inspiration to all the old guys!

take care, soon to be DAD!!!

With 2017 dates of July 21-30, it suggests that Catalina might need to adjust its normal mid-July schedule??? Maybe earlier or later -- perhaps persuade some of the international crowd to come over before or stay after?? Just a thought.
