Well at starting price of $199 a month I’m sure they will sell and be popular rentals. Seems like a niche like all the other attempts at reconfiguring a jet ski.

Saw a bunch in Parker on Memorial and I agree with @Ziggy looks like a baby playpen! Funny watching one try to dock at Fox's bow in on the outside!

I hate the controls, but I wonder for someone that has never set foot on a boat or seadoo, would this be easier to learn that a steering wheel and throttle? Is this better for someone that has never been on water?

Someone at Sea-Doo is pretty smart for this move. It's a nice entry level Toon that could work in the lower river. I think they'll sell a ton of them.

Speaking of Polaris & easy launching, on Sunday one of those amphibious quad/waverunner vessels cruised by us then put wheels down to beach it. Looked very wide and stable.

Few of them cruising the channel Saturday. Albeit somewhat functional for what it is, it however to me looks like a giant baby playpen.🤣😂🤣

James and I said that EXACT same thing.

Not my cuppa tea, but to each their own. Could be a good setup if you have a litter of children and want to get out on a boat.

I think they're a great entry level pontoon(ish) boat you can finance. Probably easy to store as well too.

I saw one of those on Memorial Day weekend. I think it was the one called a Hippo. And as for the Seadoo. They are so different that you can spot them from a far distance.

Needs a wheel, not handlebars.

It would be super compelling if it had a wheel 😂

there are at least 2 down at LL already. I dont dig the looks, they are all plastic, but I think they function very well! I think they will be very popular on a small lake or for us on the lower river. I have no clue how they will handle rough water on a busy lake weekend.

My friends just got one and have owned just about everything pontoon. They actually are selling their Hurricane that this replaced.

Saw one this weekend at Mohave. Had about 4 big guys sitting to one side and I thought it was going to flip over leaving the no wake zone.

I'm guessing you guys think it looks like a playpen because of the netting on the sides. I think that's actually a great idea for the wind, it would go right through the netting instead of acting like a sail, great idea. The modular interior is pretty sweet too. Lots of out of the box thinking going on here.

I saw probably 10 memorial day weekend between Topoc and the Avi. Not my style, but the low barrier of entry cost is pretty cool for the average person.

I posted on the Switch 6 months ago.

Since then, I have been a member of a very large Switch Facebook group. I have learned a lot about the Switch.

In the future, it will be a great boat. Right now, Sea Doo has a lot of different items to address. Sure, there are a multitude of people having a great time. However, sadly, there have been a lot of problems. A LOT.

I think they will address these issues, making the next generation of Switch more reliable.

Also, it should be noted that videos are starting to appear of the Switch flipped over. 3 just this week. According to reports, it was because too many passenger were on one side, making it easy to flip when waked. Each case has been new boater ignorance. Which I don’t mean stupid, because it’s hard to fault someone who just doesn’t know anything, but is willing to learn. I guessing they won’t do that again. Lol

Anyways, I like the Switch, but waiting is probably the best thing to do. I predict in the future, the 1st generation will be avoided for future resale value. Something to consider.

On Memorial we saw one wide open in the heavy chop full loaded. Was pretty impressed with how it was handling the rough stuff.

Saw a lot of them Cruising around havasu last month. They look cool in the ads and online. On the water? Not so much. They look tiny and cheap. Guess you get what you pay for. Wouldn’t say it’s a good havasu or loto boat at all. Maybe like a nacimiento or pleasant or some other smaller spot. Or a sand bar keys runner. That’s about it.

Are there mechanical or electrical issues? Or is there something with the toon design causing problems? The concept of an entry level newer toon is pretty intriguing to me still.

These have been out for awhile now, but like the global supply issues, they were affected in early production.

Speaking of production they are truely modular, and differ very little from model to model and length to length.

The seats can be moved in about 10 seconds or less, all but the driver seat.

I think they look kinda ghay, but they certainly have a place in the market, and like all the lake lice we will see a shit ton more.

youtube has dozens of test video, some in florida in the waves, they seem to handle the chop relatively well, but not at any decent speed above 25.

Just like utv's in glamis, these will invade the water ways. But look at the bright side, they don't throw ridiculous waves behind them like the "moomba" crowds, lol
