What ever happened to the giant grey 44 that was cruiser status that was supposed to go the middle East. Did it ever get shipped?
If it's a true "Schiada" it's clean and put in a garage/storage somewhere and won't hit the water until next year

Last I heard it was in Billy B's storage. I'm not sure if they took it back to the shop or not? I had heard it was going to a yacht broker in Florida but not sure if it ever did.
I think Lee should take it to Performance boat center in LOTO and leave it there for next season to sell.

I'm curious about the 27 twin LS one as well that Nordic/Billy B, and GT if I remember correctly were involved with.
They do make it in the water and off the trailer [emoji6] [emoji202]

I thought it was built for some billionaire guy from Dubai or some shit like that. Was it built, paid for, and never delivered? He sure as Hell didnt build it as a boat to have in stock or sit on for any extended period of time. There has to be well over a million invested in that thing.

Owner is a long time friend of mine, and has been running the boat here in Parker a number of times this summer. Sounds mean, looks good on the water.
They finished it, but never said how it performed.
Either it doesn't run right or they just don't talk about Fight Club........This would be the 2nd high dollar Schiada that had several build pics....But no results ever posted....:hmm
Does it run like it sounds?

the owner is a close friend. Boat runs fine, but wasnt happy with the way it handled at certain speeds. they have decided to make some changes to the bottom after experimenting with various props, drive heights, plates etc. believe nordic, who did the hull restoration, is doing the work on it.
Seems like there are numerous big $$$ builds that come out of GT that just don't handle right...you would think people would learn
That hallett and now the schiada.
There have been plenty of ski race Halletts that have come out of that shop and been competitive.
I don?t think any one of those two boats have any prior data on setups. They were both pretty unique builds if I remember correctly.
I have no dog in the fight. I?ve never used GT and probably never will but I?m not convinced that it?s a GT specific thing. I think that Hallett bounced around to a few shops and never did get 100% resolved.

It's going back to GT to he de rigged, then it's going to Schiada to have some bottom work performed.
