This reminds me a lot of Stacy and my wedding.. we got married on a cruise ship and then partied with all our friends on the cruise..

They are having their wedding in Playa del Carmen at the Sandaos resort.. 95’ish friends and family made the trek.. and ya know when ya get that many of the Woolery / Colorado klan together it’s gonna be a good time.. lol.

We got everything from Trifecta guys here to rdp obviously Horizon motorsports, lots of family and customers that became it..

For the Johnson’s this is my experience on the trip.. as always in my best “every kiss begins with k” voice..

Every trip begins with Herbst..

The last two pics the girls said “a parade!” I was like uh no.. a funeral lol.

Now right here is a pic of significant historical importance..

Shane, Preston’s brother ordered the first twin Trifecta with 300’s. He couldn’t sell it in Colorado so he sent it to Preston.. William bought it and that was the first twin toon in Havasu!

Ron the guy second left is the guy that builds them.

I made the mistake of choosing Sandos instead of Sandals about 8 years ago. I sure hope you have a better experience than we had as it was absolutely disgusting back then. The worst part aside from the monkeys shitting on the porch was their employees accessing our safe and changing the codes on a daily basis.
If you have time, take the kids to the zip lines where they finish in the caverns.

The big question is are they going to survive the crew with unlimited alcohol?? Lucky this wasn't 15 years ago or so when Dave was in his prime.

It’s still running strong. Best boat I’ve owned.

That must be a different one, because this place has been awesome so far!

Those last pics were from two days ago and that’s when shit went sideways.. (literally lol). In all the years of going to Mex I have managed to Bob and weave and dodge Montezumas revenge..

A couple days earlier sierra looks at me and says “dad a lot of people are getting sick! They are dropping like flies”.

When I got home that night she was sick as hell.. I felt terrible for her.. a couple hours later I had the bubble guts.. and then spent all that night and the next day on the throne.. both her and I spent the last two days in the room. 😳. Going both ways..

I am just feeling better today. lol. I am still sweating like a whore in church.

On the upside @rrrr the neuropathy in my feet feels 100 times better than it did?? Kinda bizarre.. I’m down about ten lbs if I had to guess.

Same thing happened to us and our friends last time we went to that place but it wasn't the Sandos food, it was the lettuce we ate in town. The biggest difference was that I didn't start feeling the volcano start to erupt until we were on the tour bus heading to the aquarium. Once we got to the parking lot I headed right to the pot sitting above the 1000 degree motor and spent at least 5 minutes there. I felt the bus rocking so I assumed people were still getting off but when I got out the bathroom door the driver was exiting the parking lot with myself being the only passenger. The wife and kid decided not to tell him I was still in the bathroom.
Hope you start feeling better.

At the airport still making “stops” if ya know what I mean.. sierra isn’t 100% yet I’d say I’m 80%..

I’m starving and gonna eat a Johnny rockets burger.. it’s gonna either go good or bad.

Good news for sure, I'm really happy to hear that. Neuropathy restricts mobility and makes it even harder to lose weight. I know you struggle with your injury, and have all kinds of places to go and things to do.

You can build on the weight loss. While my 80-90 lb loss over the last two years has everything to do with my fkd up cervical fusion surgery, it resulted in eating smaller portions because of swallowing difficulties. After a year or so, I realized I couldn't eat large meals anymore. My hunger was more easily satiated and it was uncomfortable to eat more because my stomach had gotten smaller.

If you can work on that, it'll become a benefit in your quest to reduce pain from the injury and improve your overall health. I hope you'll continue.
