This is for real. You have all seen the old RV’s used by bums. Well they use old boats too. The worst part is when they abandon the boats and they break free from anchor, the boat usually ends up grounded on the rocks. I see about a half dozen a year up on the rocks

I have been watching for years as the homeless buy up old derelict boats and live on those. They anchor out and move around.

There is a big group of them in Richardson Bay. Some guys just set up shop on the shoreline outside my office too. I will go get a picture. We joke they are partying while we losers are workin. Lol

The homeless population in Oakland has really gotten out of control. Total shit show. This is really just an extension of the lawlessness that is occurring on land.

In the same area not too long ago the bums started a big fire under a major freeway which caused panic as Caltrans worried about damage to the elevated freeway. So they evicted the biggest bum camp I have ever seen. It was a big deal.

Yes. But it was short lived.

In the early 90s, New York City was overrun with crime and drugs. Republican Rudy Guliani was elected as mayor in 1994. During his two terms in office, he allowed the police to perform their stated purpose, enforce the law. He also spearheaded the stop and frisk policy, and it made crime in the city plummet. Open air drug markets and prostitution declined significantly, and the murder rate fell to levels not seen in over a decade.

When he left office and Democrat Michael Bloomberg was elected mayor, the cycle of crime spun up again. Within two years the city was in turmoil, and the soft on crime minions in Bloomberg's orbit had dismantled the NYC district attorney's office.

Chaos followed when Democrat Bill De Blasio was elected after Bloomberg . He was the leader of the idea that crime was rampant because of racist policing and the so called school to prison pipeline. NYC's descent into lawlessness accelerated. De Blasio vilified the police, and terminated the stop and frisk policy. Crime and homelessness blew through the roof.

Now Eric Adams is mayor. He parrots the line of the race hustlers, and since Texas governor Abbott began sending illegal aliens to NYC, he has done nothing but whine and ask for federal dollars.
