I installed one on a '08 F53. Not a shock absorber or stabilizer, It assists in centering your steering...., IIRC it puts about 18lbs of pressure to bring your wheels back to center./straight.. Not enough pressure to feel like you're fighting to turn the steering wheel. Easy install

Did I notice a difference?... Ya, I like to think so but I did a variety of suspension upgrades that I feel works pretty good together

I recommend a rear trac bar as well....

These guys are very knowledgable (and of course they sell the products)
I had them do a road test/evauluation and weighed the rig. They then recommend what products may correct your concerns.

Do a search on IRV2.com. and Youtube for plenty of comments

Never heard of it, looks like a steering stabilizer, Steering has never been an issue on my rig, proper balance, load leveling has always worked, I haven't needed sway control on the trailers.

YMMV.

I got one on 29ft class A, rig came with it so no input as far as how good it is. does hang sort of low.

I had a 2000 F53 35ft

I ran air bags and it stiffened up the suspension …. The air bags took out the sloppiness feel

I have changed lanes a few times when a gust hit just right…
