Who has done exhaust on a turbo S? Worth the money? Noticeable hp gains? Throttle response? Temps? Not exhaust and tune, just exhaust.

Or does it just make more noise and look cool?

Without a tune to go with it, just noise and looks cool. I would wait until the stock muffler gets blown out or welds start cracking.

I added a trinity system.
A little more power “ but “ all day noise … couldn’t hear headsets.
Cool factor but I wouldn’t do it again.
You may wanna ride in another one with an exhaust and see what ya think.

There's one I can hear from my Havasu backyard that is absolutely obnoxious. I can hear it for miles.
I'm not an anti-noise muffler nazi by any stretch of the imagination but holy shitballs, whoever it is made a horrible purchase.

I have yet to see any appreciable performance gain with any exhaust system on a sxs. As stated above, seems as though they only get louder.

Especially with the consistently high RPM that CVT sxs run, I would be very concerned about drone getting very annoying on a long day

Subscribed, I have stage 2 and 3 tunes from aftermarket assassins (currently stage 2 installed) also have clutch kit from them too. I’ve been eyeing the trinity exhaust. But not sure if I should pull the trigger or not.

Fwiw my suspension is not stock lol

Sounds like not enough performance gains if any. My suspension is done and pretty much all I need is already done. If there were good performance advantages I would do the exhaust but sounds like it will just be noisy and I don’t need that.

What advantages did you see on the clutch kit?
The most noticeable thing is no lag at all now feels like a much smoother throttle when you get on it are you running 32 inch tires? I was running 32 on a turbo xp and was blowing belts did the clutch kilt and no more belts it really hard to describe how it feels unless you drive one with a clutch kit but best way is it gives you instant power

You gotta remember on a turbo system that most of the exhaust restriction is at the turbo, not the muffler. So usually not a lot of hp to gain, if any, unless the muffler system is massively undersized for the engine, which the RZR doesn't seem to be.

This. And I think the aftermarket people recommend the exhaust just to eliminate the catalyst so it does not melt/clog from heavy and hard use with high HP tunes.

What advantages did you see on the clutch kit?

When you put in a clutch kit the car will feel more responsive. Generally you are trying to get the engine to a higher powerband sooner and that makes the car faster.

Top end is what it is with a given clutch setup, you are just adjusting how it gets there and how it engages with the clutch kits. On cars with engine braking, that is also adjustable via clutch kits.

The cars really wake up and become more responsive with a tune and a clutch kit.

Clutch kit, Stage 2 AA tuner, Evo exhaust is what my car has. Drove a friends car with Just Trinity exhaust and mine was noticeably faster from top to bottom...

If you are adding exhaust, add the clutch and tune also or you are just paying for sound.

I personally hate the sound of the Trinity.

Not sure what trinity set up this is (Stage 5 ) But I’d run from any exhaust that catches on fire!! And yes this dude repacked it every X amount of required hours.
This is now the 3rd trinity exhaust Iv seen melt and catch cars on fire, since last season alone. Fuk that!

looks like molten aluminum to me.

This. Too much EGT, and it burned the packing.

The rotary guys pack their mufflers with lava rocks so this does not happen.

Yeah coming out of the center, but look around the entire outer flange, it looks like bubbled toffee. Like a clear coat that got too hot.

That would be the source of actual flames when that shit starts offgassing and POOF

It did. The packing burned up inside the muffler, and bubbled the coating on the outside of the muffler.

That photo alone is 100x any other reason to skip spending $ on the exhaust.
It also looks like the tune might have been slightly off😏🙄

Full stainless straight pipe back. Vroom vroom. Plus I like it loud so people can hear me coming.

That is the solution.. or lava rock or stainless scrubble as muffler packing.

I think Rugged radios or one of those companies should take a page from the Raptor V6 and just pump artificial exhaust tone into radio/comm speakers.

The driver can hear all the vroom-vroom he wants without all the racket outside.

Is that a clear coat that has caught on fire?
That’s all molten aluminum, picked up a few piles in the sand too. This exhaust was just repacked 2 trips before, so limited hours on it. Funny thing was dude also has a sandrail. Opted to take the rzr in fear his car would break down running with us. lmao!!

My question is, say trinity installs this shit on a brand new car. Their shit parts catch on fire And car burns up. Supposedly trinity has no liability, what in the actual fuk.

This dude is sponsored by trinity so he didn’t really care, but doubt trinity will replace his wiring that got cooked or his trunk that is burnt to shit. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It’s the packing that’s bad. Did Trinity give him the new packing?

Honestly if he repacked it with a subpar material, I don’t see it being Trinity’s fault. If Trinity gave him the packing, maybe..?

4 strokes w/ exhaust sound horrible and obnoxious.

when I got my daughters quad and RZR 170... I made sure to find something with stock exhaust. Will do the same when it comes to bigger SxS for the kids.

Hes sponsored by trinity, doubt he would be using subpar anything when he can get their shit for free.
The other one that caught fire (part of our group or was, lol ) end of last season , was a new set up with minimal use on it.

If it is a pillow like this..

Trinity Stage 5 Exhaust Pillow Packing (18in) https://a.co/d/di2WyrA

It is not optimal for that application in the dunes. You aren’t going to burn up lava rock or full stainless steel packing like that.

If it is a pillow style like above, the packing caught fire in the muffler, and that is where the problems started.

Stainless or titanium, aluminum is for cans, I could really care less I don’t have a golf cart. Lol
