What are you getting for pricing? I’m looking at the exact same dimensions only 40’ deep

A Guy in OC quoted be 2200+tax with side and back covered w/ mesh 95% block. 1-7/8" poles.

That sounds way to cheap. I’m close to $6,000. Do you have a picture example?

We bought this 40x20x15 for about $800. 1 7/8" poles but did not get the side or back panels.

Not yet, supposed to go by the shop in the next few days. I'll let you know how it goes.

I put one together last year. We did everything by hand and ladders. It was me and two other guys and took a weekend. It’s pretty easy to assemble but I would recommend a lift. Once you start putting the roof and the end caps on it becomes a little difficult

Where did you get it?
I got mine at Northern Tools, best price and no shipping charges if you have it shipped to store for pickup.
My top lasts about 2 1/2 years in TX heat and humidity, new top $200, not bad at all.

I just put this up. $500. 40x20 Craigslist guy.
I assemble everything but the uprights in a couple hours. Spent more time drinking...you will need a couple guys to lift the sides when installing the uprights. I anchored it with the paramid blocks and ratchet straps. 8 each side. Gonna add more.
The guys number..

Keep trying it will eventually let you. I get that low memory crap all every now and again. How well built is the actual shade/cover? One of those might work for me at my parker pad.

Subscribed. Id like to put one of these in my driveway here in HB. Does anyone know the permit laws regarding it? As long as its not permanent I think it is ok?

If you don't mind how much did you spend on this one? I am looking for the same type of set up?

I'd love to have one of these but live in Simi Valley. Santa Ana's can be brutal here

We get our parts through Yuma Bargain Center (poles from HD). My husband and I can put one up in about an hour and a half from scratch.

Best question yet, and generally not much unless anchored very well . They.are a big ass sail.
We have ours nailed to the ground with large spikes that cross each other. Also, depending on what is parked under (we have 2, one with the rhino and jet ski trailer, and one with the off road car and our river tow truck), we anchor to either our jet ski trailer, and/or large bar stock that has been driven in the ground a couple of feet, and then has a hole drilled in the top for a ratchet strap to be anchored to. We've had really good luck with this method.

Hopefully soon, we'll have two for sale! As soon as the big garage gets done, everything is inside!

What's your process? do you built the pitch first, then put on the legs? if so how tall is it?

We typically lay it out on the ground roughly with corners, legs, and then all the poles. Then we set it up in 10' lengths. I can't reach the rail, so I'm going to say it's 10' +/-. Once we get the first 10' section together, we just install the rails and connectors to the desired length. I swear, we have enough parts to probably do 100' section--it's stupid (hence, why we're building a 2700 sf garage!). After it's all built, we nail it down, and then throw the tarp unfolded as little as possible, one of us is on the ladder and one of the ground. Get a corner of the tarp over each side of the top middle support and start pulling!

We should really make a youtube video.

I have a couple of the 12 x 30 . Tarps last 2-3 seasons. Poles have been fine (8 years plus). I filled a 5 gallon bucket with concrete at each post. Set a 2x6 piece of wood with j bolt in the mud. Then screw the feet down with lag bolts. Nothing as ever moved.
Side perk is that added height allows ski boats with towers to back under without dropping tower.

Right? If I can only talk my husband into putting a new canopy up. I swear, if this garage isn't done before a tarp wears out, he's going to lose his mind.
