Thanks I’ll give him a call.

Waiting to hear back from 3 others but they’re way out on scheduling.

Diversified quoted me $4,000 for the 625 square feet of roof. Does that seem nuts or reasonable?
You’re probably 700 bucks in just shingles. These days labor ain’t cheap either and same with materials.

2008 I did my roof in Fullerton I want to say I paid less than your quote for a 15 squares roof. Needed osb sheeting too. 60 sheets at 6 bucks a piece and was paying 45 bucks a square for shingles of good quality. Ain’t no way I’m coming that close today even though my wife works for roofline in az.

Did all the labor though as I done a few roofs with old employer.

He mentioned Tile not shingles. Quality underlayment and tile you could be 2k in materials. Unless there just putting down paper and tile on it.

Try Craven Construction & Roofing I have heard good things, but haven't used them personally.

Sounds pretty cheap to me.

Doing about 400ish myself is costing $1500-2k in material including plywood, facia, #40 paper, staples, nails, drip metal and shingles

Just a thought, but on stuff near a pool, I'd do cuts out front. Sucks, because laying a side down, chalking a line and running a saw is so much quicker. Hopefully the wind is blowing away from your pool. I never wanted to vacuum someone else's pool, or wipe down the tiles. Being really clean always helped with word of mouth.

624 sf x 4/12 pitch (5.33%) = 657 sf tile.

material available full and 1/2 pallet. (3.05 sq. pallet)

Capistrano hip/ridge requires rain block (color mortar) and Birdstop closure (1st course) matching existing residence if same type.

good luck...

PS, good selection on Color and manufacture.

also, Capistrano concrete S tile is NOT user friendly for the amateur.

IMO, need a Pro...

now, if wanting to save a few $$$$... drive locally, locate new housing track under construction with SAME roof type style ("S"), ask lead man (foreman) if he's interested in a side job..

I am leaving one of my jobs now. The presidential shingles and ridges were over $8K. 1600 sq ft house 400 sq ft garage. With tear off, new top of the line fascia, replacing a few sheets and install with ice water shield under shingles my price is a little over 32k.

Cheap shingles are like $155 @ sq. That's from @rmarion Co. From Chris who I have been buying roofs from for 25 years. This roof is from Chris also.
