Does any one have Rock Tamers mud flaps? If so how do you like them? Or does anyone have some for sale on here?

I made a slick set. Most new HD trucks have the 2.5” receivers. I took another sleeve and welded some rectangle stock to it. Inexpensive and simple install/removal. I do notice with the catwalk on the trailer that a lot of rocks end up there. Don’t notice any inside the boat though.

We have a set of them. Work well. Was able to just buy the 2.5” yoke for the last truck. Now trucks have 3” receivers. Decided to go with RockStar’ mud flaps this go around. Have not used them yet but they have substantially more coverage.

Just buy a 6” piece of 3” x 1/4” wall square tube and drill a hole in it.

Oh sorry, Did not do the Rockstar's because my old Rock Tamers was 2.5". You can actually buy just the yoke for 3" on rock tamers and swap it if you want. We wanted the better coverage the Rockstar's offer.

Thanks guys. I use to hate the looks of mud flaps, still kind of do, but they protect the toys. My new truck shows a lot more tire so I’m going to get some once I can find them.

I run them when towing the boat only on the F350 DRW.
ending up making a mesh insert that runs between the flaps, allowing for extra coverage

I don’t remember where I got these but they have been awesome. I had a rock tamer before. Got tired of dealing with it. I bought these brackets then sourced some mud flaps from the local truck stop and cut them to fit.

I will try and find then vendor and post it.

Found it

The nice thing about the Rock Tamers is they come off with the hitch. I have had bolt on flaps on other trucks, but they were not as easy to take on and off.

I have a set and they're awesome pay attention to flap height. A buddy of mine had flaps that were hitting the highway and kicking rocks up on his gel defeating the purpose. Boat loaded and hooked to the truck mine are about 2-3 inches off the asphalt.

Just me and I've had no issues to date.
