Lots of conflicting info on this one. I am hoping the best for the Deputy that was involved.

This is just sickening. Praying for all the LEO'S out there and especially my Riverside County Sheriff friends. This has been just a horrible couple weeks and I am not optimistic that it will get better.

Our Sheriff's office is out putting in the work. Unfortunately that means they have more encounters with the lowest level of humanity. I can't express how sad this is to my family. Prayers to the family of Deputy Darnell Calhoun.

We were headed out to La Quinta today. Left upland around 3pm and once we got around Beaumont I started seeing a coupe marked and a lot I mean a lot of unmarked all all code 3 hauling ass that way.

I had a feeling this was why. Sad deal

They arrested the scumbag at scene. They were both taken to Inland Valley hospital. I literally live down the street from hospital and police and helicopters are still all around. The officer did not make it his parents own Calhouns BBQ in old Town Murrieta. Some of the nicest people you ever meet. He had just came to work here from SD to be closer to family. This is a tragedy that will be felt for generations has he had his own family.

Damn. We’ve had Calhouns cater parties for us. They really are an awesome family. This is a real bummer. RIP

RIP …prayers to family and friends!
The LEO agencies should be getting as much support as needed to safely and properly do their jobs..yet the LAPD had to take down the thin blue line flag. This wokeness/racial BS has to stop.

Rest In Peace Deputy Calhoun.

It’s about time that these judges who release these dangerous criminals back into society are held accountable if they make the wrong choice, much like a police officer who is held accountable for their wrong choices….but these judges have time to think about their choices, the police officers only have split seconds and have to justify their actions, judges don’t.

So sad to hear this over and over again from across the country. May Deputy Calhoun rest in peace and many prayers for his family, brothers and sisters on the job and his friends. This has to stop. I am sick of it happening over and over again to these hard working men and women.

Rip officer. Is it too soon the suspects rap sheet was squeaky clean. Enough of the waste of good life to try and nurture the bad apples. Some people shouldn’t be allowed to waste our oxygen.

The LAPD thing is specific to the Blue Line Flags if I'm not mistaken. I don't think they have gone full commi on us yet.

LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Police Department removed the "Thin Blue Line Flag" from one of its stations after receiving a complaint from a community member saying the flag represents extremist views.
