1998 Hallett 270T with Merc Racing 377 Scorpions with big tube headers! (The guy that built it worked at Merc racing and from What the original owner told me these scorpions are a little more tuned up then most) Compression is perfect on the motors, but it will need valve guides in a couple seasons (smokes on start up). Real Merc K planes (not those cheesy Bennett trim tabs), real Latham full hydraulic steering ($$$), real Latham offshore controls ($$$), When this boat was built they spent ALL THE MONEY. On board fuel transfer station to transfer fuel out of the boat and into jet skis. Foot shower in front (original from hallett)

I have cleaned this boat up a lot since I first bought it..

Had the cabinets redone, butcher block tops, bar (bottle holders) all remade and fit the more popular brands of alcohol, butcher block cooler Lid / serving tray. Cooler pulled out and actually insulated (it wasn’t from the factory).

White led lighting throughout / Red LED lighting throughout. Custom chair rail in the bow to hide the lighting (indirect). TV / DVD player / 110 volt inverter.

MASSIVE STEREO - 5 amps (one hidden) 4 12’s under the back seat, 4 8’s, 6 6.5’s... all top of the line. 4 giant full river batteries means you can play it all day and night if you want all weekend long. Stereo hits hard enough it will actually blur your vision. Stereo alone is just shy of 18,000.00

Bolting the whipple on would make these 500 horse motors. Thats a ton of get up and go for a 270. Please do a build thread if you go down this road.

That will probably still work, but it is for the black scorpion. As I understand it, the blue scorpion is a bit different engine, but all the important stuff to get the supercharger on is likely very similar or identical. They are all 377 small block chevys with Vortec heads. The scorpions had a different intake than the standard 6.2. The black scorpion had the same cast exhaust as the standard 6.2. and the extra 20 HP was likely just from the intake, I do not know if it had a different cam. The blue scorpions had headers as well and had 50 extra HP over the standard 6.2. Again, I don't know if there was a different cam in the blue ones or not.

Yes. A buddy of mine just sold his Donzi 28zx with Whippled Scorpions. Not sure if whipple still makes the kits for those.
