I'm down for that! Seems like a great idea...Curious on the cost though! Just hoping the RV awning on the side is higher to accommodate coaches of all sizes. I dont even think my Class C will fit under there.

Curious if the cost and options to purchase?

The seven miles north of LHC isn’t appealing to me as a local. I’d be more interested in the man cave storages up in the foothills for location. That said what the prices are going to be is what will determine the outcome.

I think Id be in at $600-800 a month. But I have a feeling its not gonna be that cheap! I feel like 1k will be the number.

All of the people dressed up wearing the gold plated hard hats gave it away.

Yep. Smart place to build. It falls into an “opportunity zone.” Huge tax incentives if you have capital gains $ to use up.

All the “proposed” street names on their little site map are all beer brands. Coors creek, Corona Beach, Miller (something)...kinda cool

How are they getting this BLM land to develop?

Interesting. Throw a kick ass pool in there and it would be tempting.
A spot at Islander is between 625 and 1000. With no storage.
This would have plenty of garage storage on your spot . 800ish and it will be somethingto consider. 1000 i dunno.

I didnt look to close before my post. There have been not fucking around moving dirt. This is actually happening, i guess i was thinking drag strip bs
Im gonna sign up on the list. Ive started to enjoy winters more and more. The disadvantage of no beach or ramp is the biggest down fall. Wheres the nearest ramp?

The nearest ramp is Windsor.

So do you own the land, or just buy the unit / lease the spot like other parks?

Only advantages I see in this.

You can have this (buy/rent???) and have a smallish house with boat parking in Havasu. Pick it up on your in and drop it on the way out. Play from the unit, during the winter. All toys there and Havasu house is cheaper.

Not too bad of a spot to grab the boat if you go to havasu/Powell/Mohave...

It’s not BLM. It’s deeded land. I don’t know much about the project. I just know that it falls into an opportunity zone because I’ve been looking into those lately.

Would be awesome if they could put in a runway with it. I think a fly in community in Havasu would do pretty well.

In the video I seen there was mention of a pool going in with a few other things like a driving range and basketball courts. Looks like they are trying to make it Family friendly.

Sounds like another project that will be done in half a decade... In other words, a Havasu standard "2 weeks".
Excatly. How do you promote and start digging etc and not have a price point. Oh wait . Let's see the interest, and then we will do a supply and demand price point.

But If you build a facility to house 300 botes and their trailers on racks, and then purchase a forklift, when there is little demand.. they will certainly come. :p

No not for rack storage... That will change everything. If you build a facility to house 300 botes and their trailers and then purchase the forklift, they will come. :p
If you build it they will come.

We need to drink beers and continue our master plans for the rack storage ....

The more I thought about its gonna need to be cheap. To leave the Islander it would take some serious perks. Only one I can see is great shelter from the desert elements. Full shade over the RV would be nice.
At 1st I thought storage right on your spot would be great, but You can get storage anywhere.

Show me one built near a lake, that is indoors, where land is cheap and abundent, and the garages attached to the vacation homes are bigger than the living spaces.

There is not enough demand to warrant the cost of the facility and buildout. That’s why there is not one here already.

This is not going to be an option for Havasu boaters.

I thought of closing off the back part of the storage for sleeping area ...

Better do that on the down low.. that is probably frowned upon.
