I took that Path two weeks ago. From looking at the water it was the best path I could see.

That’s the way I always take. A few times I’ve came around that corner to see a few boats coming right at me. 1 boat isn’t a big deal but sometimes there are multiple. If there was a way to go back up river without that blind spot it would be awesome.

I hug the grass island too, I like your thinking, it’s blind (use caution and don’t forget some days have more boat traffic than others). Have an escape route, back up plan, leave room for error.
Something else to think about, the levels are up right now.

With all this info going out it's just a matter of time before there is going to be a head- on right there. If you can't read/negotiate the water you should stay on the lake.

Last time I went up a few weeks ago, there were 2 pontoon boats anchored right in the pathway with kids out floating and playing in the water.
