… A big loss, a great musical talent… So many of the musicians that I hung out with backstage…have passed on…

… A dear friend, a rock ‘n’ roll drummer who became a world renowned Medical guy … Who had played drums with a band called Southwind for years and then with the Flying Burrito Brothers passed away Jan 11th lon his 81st birthday… He had helped me so much with my broken neck issues… Out of the Southwind band there is only one remaining alive and he has dementia really bad and can’t remember any of the fun old days… the Southwind opened for Janis Joplin… Jimmy Hendrix, and possibly were on the same bill with the Band …Not sure about that last one???…
