RIP Frank - The Limo Driver

I Just got the call a few minutes ago that Frank the limo driver passed away in his sleep this morning. As most of you know he was basically part of our family..

Frank took care of me for over a year when I broke my ankle. He showed up every morning and wheeled me around in that god forsaken chair.. point of fact he was the one that picked me up from the airport in Vegas after it happened in my truck with a cooler full of beer.

He’d come by the house whenever he was out to hang out and take the kids for ice cream in the limo. The kids always wanted Frank to take them to school on the first day of school and when Stacy wanted to go have a fun night out I always knew she’d be safe with Frank.

He was fiercely loyal in love and life and you couldn’t ask for a better friend. We will miss him terribly and I will never forget our adventures together, even the ones I don’t remember to begin with..

Strangely we are in the same rv park, almost in the exact same spot that we came to seven months ago when Stacys mom passed on New Years.

I can tell you we probably won’t be returning.

So much unexpected death over the past couple years it seems. Starting with my mom. My good friend Chet Huffman, Roy, my neighbor, I could go on....Just seems to be happening a lot lately.

Really sorry for the loss. I always enjoyed running into Frank and BS'n with him. Kelly loved talking to him. He always spoke highly of his wife and kids and my wife always respected that in him.

I'll never forget coming back from Taylor and AJ's wedding in the party bus. Franks driving, it's SUPER late /early, we're all hammered. RD just wanted to get to bed, he was all tapped out. We had to stop for gas and Frank was filling up the fuel at the pump our friend Shayna is shakin her butt in the window thinking he cant see through the tint, but he totally could. He just stood there straight faced. It was pretty classic!

Good dude. He'll be missed.

I like it because I it kinda exemplifies frank to me. Kinda stoic, little quite but definitely enjoyed himself….basically what he’s doing in this photo. Just taking it in.

I too lost a really good friend unexpectedly a few months back that still weighs heavily on me.
