Loved that show when I was a little kid.
Amazed that the TV characters looked like the cartoon characters.

Saw it recently on a cable channel and watched it not having seen it since a kid. Fucking weird and seemed so peculiar now and I wanted to whack the kid. Same thing with Hazel, what a dark fucking peculiar show.

Same here. I’m surprised no one is playing reruns like other tv shows. RIP

He was active in a group called "A Minor Concern."
There are few acting roles for kids after they hit age 14 and the group stresses that and to have a exit from show business strategy in place.

He had some bitterness about that but evidently got over it.

Also the group got the Coogan child actor Law strengthened. Not by much but an improvement none the less. Also teachers on the set can shut down production if the kids are being mistreated, in danger or the production is violating the law. + 4 hours in the classroom / 4 hours on the set.

I can't remember her name but there is an 28 year old actress out there that has steady work in 14 years old roles. She's working steady but has yet to graduate into adult roles.
Very few do. A typical example.

A lot of kids work in Hollywood. Mind boggling numbers most don't realize.

I remember he did Peter Pan Peanut Butter commercials and put half the jars peanut butter on his sandwich with a cake knife.
Us kids thought that soo funny:

Not saying this is right or the way to do it but:
Kids actors can be difficult on the set and he wasn't the only one that got straightened out by a relative.
Ron Howard - Opie Taylor has mentioned their were times his dad beat his ass to cooperate.

My mom working for Disney said Walt handled it by firing the kids. Zero tolerance.
If I remember it was Paul Petersen, another former child actor that also created A Minor Concern was fired on the set, on the spot by Disney.

Talk to any Production crew member that worked with kids. Kids can be full of themselves and a pain to work with.
