Marine Mom do you know if there is an open homicide investigation being conducted by a Law Enforcement Agency in regards to the death of Mr. Majors? I looked at the Blog section of the web site, but could find no info as the status of the case, or who the lead investigation agency is.

A unified effort of family & friends are working together find Louie?s killer. Our efforts may include:

law enforcement, including state and federal
private investigators
the public.. YOU!

Law Enforcement has been on this since he was killed. Missie is still alive and their first consideration was her safety.

So from what I've read in the different threads Louie was murder in the yard of very close family friends and no one was willing to take a polygraph to rule them out as suspects. Did that ever change? No witnesses at a house gathering? Was he attacked randomly while going to his car for something while everyone was in the back? This all seems planned and set up really well. Someone had to have been watching his moves and struck swiftly. Out of His customers that were "strung along" maybe one of them was someone of questionable background? The only reason I can imagine the wife needing to be put in hiding. This whole deal is a bad deal and I hope the family get answers so it can all be put to rest soon.

I really shouldn't dignify your remark with my response... however, wouldn't you want your loved one looked after if you were murdered? Seriously?

I'm just asking a question.

I've been involved in a situation where someone was murdered. Just so happens they went to a persons house to roll them. Aka, doing someone or attempting to do them wrong. I'm sorry for your loss, but sometimes people aren't as innocent as they appear. Smoke and mirrors sister.

He was there for a Cardinal's Football game sir... and people aren't always as evil. I'm leaving this conversation, as I don't need the upset. Good day sir...

People are capable of this kind of evil. You are nieve to think otherwise IMO.

He went to someone's house for a party and never left. Was it someone at the party? Was it someone at the party that orchestrated it? Was it a random tweaker in broad daylight? The more and more I think about it the more and more it sounds like a hit. Good or bad person is not necessarily in question here but if it was a hit someone thought he was deserving of it. I just can't get over the fact that no one saw it. Esp cause where it happened.

I had the pleasure to paint a boat for Louie back in the mid 90s.
He had called me asking for help as he was having issues with his gel guy.
I went and started working, towards the end of the day I asked what hotel/motel he suggested close by.

He says "hotel?Screw that man,I have an extra bedroom at home and my wife is a great cook"
He didn't know me from Adam, never met him before.
He and Missie were very great hosts and he was right, she can cook!!I have to admit staying at his place had it all over some hotel.

Louie treated me very well,we talked on the phone several times after that week.He was a good guy to me,I wish you and his family the best of luck finding the answers you seek.

I remember that thread. It's hard to believe it was 4 years ago.

Louie built two boats for me, both were good values for the money spent, I was happy with them both! He was a stand up guy and always did what he said he was going to do and never did me wrong. I have nothing bad to say of him and have nothing but respect for the man. He was a handshake guy, Not many of those around anymore.
