So its the first Holiday of the summer, lots of trucks with headlight's on and doors open at night at the launch ramp? Is it that hard to turn the lights off?
Some have DRL.....but it can be a little irritating when they leave their doors open.So its the first Holiday of the summer, lots of trucks with headlight's on and doors open at night at the launch ramp? Is it that hard to turn the lights off?
Maybe I'm not following but what's the big deal if their lights are on? How's that bothering you?
Newer chevy's have a switch to turn them off. 2000-2002 trucks you push the dome light button 3 times and it shuts them off. 1999 trucks....well....you are screwed - your only option is to push the E-brake in 1 click and it will kill the DRL.
Fun facts for the day :thumbsup

:hmm So I am at the Launch Ramp retrieving my Boat after being out on the lake for 8-10hrs, I turn my Headlights off not to irritate anyone else that might be in/on the Ramp Area.
Ranger Dave (not you RD) comes by and stops, walks up and asks "why are your lights off", "Lic & Reg"
"Have you Had anything to Dink today" probable cause is what I'll error on, sorry about the lights, I'll keep them on.
Is this something new?Make sure you have dusk to dawn coverage on your boat insurance policy.
My wife will not do it at night . She said she can't see to back down .
So I do it . I need to add she's right . Damn did it just say that !
At night it's a one man deal I do it all
Let's hope you never run into Ziggy backing down the ramp.

It helps when you can back down using your rear view mirror and not your side mirrors.
