Hahah yea that’s right down the road from me. The water was causing tons of damage. Couple 10k trucks were Pennys compared to damage. A bunch of debris eventually clogged it up. Hopfully it dosent hurt the trees. All that standing water dosent allow the roots to get any oxygen essentially and kills it. Also takes 7+ years for them to begin to reproduce after planting. Adds up to be a lot financially

a levee in Suisun bay/sloughs near where i fish broke in the late 70's during huge storm was fixed using old 70's cars stacked 2-3 high. if i remember right the rancher said they stopped counting at 45 cars its one of the strongest parts of that whole levee system.
