PayPal or Ebay will always address a message to YOUR NAME or your MEMBER NAME. Never "PayPal Customer" or "Ebay Member".

In the case of Ebay, they will also have the message in your "My Ebay" messages page. Log in only through normal methods and never by clicking on any email links.

You can also float the curser over the "link" in the message to see the real URL. It may have Ebay or Paypal in the URL, but it will have all kinds of other junk letters and numbers in it, too.
