I'm thinking I'm fairly screwed here.Discovered a leak,it seems to be behind the wall and/or under slab.
I can see at least 5 lines coming out of the ground, through the sill and up.This is directly under the water heater, which sits on a raised and dry walled platform.
I removed my beer fridge, and pulled the surface underneath to try to get a look. Its pretty tight in there. image.jpg

So any pipe guys in or around the IE?
91fwy and Van Buren.

Slab leaks are a real pain. Possible repipe, or bust out the slab for a repair...

Mrs Flying Vee does it, but i think they are in Culver City?

I had a similar situation. Water heater sits in garage on a raised platform, just underneath it was leaking up through the slab. The line had a pinhole but was nowhere near where the water was coming from.

The line was actually under the slab in the kitchen :eek Water just traveled the path of least resistance and under the water heater in the garage is where it showed up.

Insurance company had to call in a restoration company and dehumidifiers ran for two days straight.

Not saying this is your situation but you may want to call your Home Owners Insurance and get the ball rolling quickly. Slab leaks are nothing to mess with. Who knows how long its been leaking and where it could be.

Good Luck Gelcoater, those are never fun. :(

Rock's Plumbing. Steve is a good guy. Not the cheapest, but does it right. He is the plumber for my school district and my buddy with several rentals. Never had a problem with him. Out of Riverside off of Washington. 951 780 8244
