I'm up for anything set up a ride for the 30th to the cabin and other days we can do whatever we want.Dude I’m sick as shit.. lol. I just got up and went to maxed out marine Christmas party. When I get home I’ll put it all together.
Do you guys want to go to the gun show one day? Or ride both days?
Gun show..... somebody say gun show?
Anybody have any info on it, where/ when/ link
Yes, the cabin is very close from the way Dave was describing it. Out a wash and over a hill.Is this trip jeep friendly?
A little north of SalomeWhere is Alamo Lake?
I know a longer way out and around to the plant from the south side, staying off the highway going in land then to the plant.Does anyone know a back way out there like from Bison? The only way I know how to go is from the concrete plant south of town.. Which I'm fine with taking the trails on the side of the road down there, but I think it'd be more fun to do it another way.

The cabin is around 15 miles (guessing on length on the GPS) from the concrete plant. I don't care if we leave from the concrete plant or ride out down there.
I'm thinking maybe we just run it from the concrete plant, and maybe run that some of the course of the Desert bash out to like Card Stop 3 and then turn around and come back?

What cage is that? It doesn't even have seat belt keepers or a dual intrusion/v brace in the windshield?
The back way from Bison is sketchy. There's a part on the power line road that most riders would turn around. There's big drop offs on a downhill portion and a part that makes you feel like the car will rollover sideways.
The way from Challenger wash up to the top is better than taking Standard. It's more scenic, but rocky. Me and Dot have been that way a bunch of times. There's also less riders. We went Black Friday and even came across some deer.

I have it mapped from the human bean....last time i lead a ride from one of the washes we never made it. couldnt find a way to my road
anyway we are in!
Same here. I would go out std wash and transfer over to mohave wash and viola you there. Or take the side trails along the highway and go to the start of desert bash and go that way. All of which I have on gps
But you talking about Standard Wash on New Years weekend. Did you ride there over Thanksgiving weekend? There was what seemed like a hundred cars and Jeeps in the Mohave Wash Thanksgiving weekend. Standard is a good starting point, but it'll be busy.

That's a fun ride. You guys are headed to the Cabin in Dove Springs???!!
Fun ride and the cabin is cool but that road is so beat to shit these days! That's a fun ride.
I have hit that patch on the power line before and it does get dicey. For a group ride I would second shortdeck.
Sounds like Wendi. We just cruisenot up for dicey, I gonna have to play nice with my wife in car or I won't be able to get her to go again. I finally got her comfy in the big dunes in glamis and now I don't have time to go, so havasu riding this season will be it this year... keep it simple with what seems like a pretty good size group (and growing), that will reduce odds of peeps messing up their shit and possibly holding everyone up. just my .02.
Cool cool. When you rolling in to Parker? Were down...Trevor and Lia, and a few others will go too...
