Come on Dave's still sleeping, he'll be in around 2.

That picture of Mike is rad!! He must be working on your Rzr. Mines back at Fab for a couple of things, but I'll be ready by Saturday of this weekend.

Dude I’m sick as shit.. lol. I just got up and went to maxed out marine Christmas party. When I get home I’ll put it all together.

Do you guys want to go to the gun show one day? Or ride both days?

Does anyone know a back way out there like from Bison? The only way I know how to go is from the concrete plant south of town.. Which I'm fine with taking the trails on the side of the road down there, but I think it'd be more fun to do it another way.

I know a longer way out and around to the plant from the south side, staying off the highway going in land then to the plant.

The cabin is around 15 miles (guessing on length on the GPS) from the concrete plant. I don't care if we leave from the concrete plant or ride out down there.

I'm thinking maybe we just run it from the concrete plant, and maybe run that some of the course of the Desert bash out to like Card Stop 3 and then turn around and come back?

Sounds good to me, we could always take a different way back and come in at challenger by the kids school.

The back way from Bison is sketchy. There's a part on the power line road that most riders would turn around. There's big drop offs on a downhill portion and a part that makes you feel like the car will rollover sideways.

The way from Challenger wash up to the top is better than taking Standard. It's more scenic, but rocky. Me and Dot have been that way a bunch of times. There's also less riders. We went Black Friday and even came across some deer.

I think the most direct easiest is from the concrete plant. We could either start there or ride to there. I’m ok with either

I have hit that patch on the power line before and it does get dicey. For a group ride I would second shortdeck.

Sounds like fun. We are most likely in with two rides...X3 max and a Ranger.

Same here. I would go out std wash and transfer over to mohave wash and viola you there. Or take the side trails along the highway and go to the start of desert bash and go that way. All of which I have on gps

But you talking about Standard Wash on New Years weekend. Did you ride there over Thanksgiving weekend? There was what seemed like a hundred cars and Jeeps in the Mohave Wash Thanksgiving weekend. Standard is a good starting point, but it'll be busy.

not up for dicey, I gonna have to play nice with my wife in car or I won't be able to get her to go again. I finally got her comfy in the big dunes in glamis and now I don't have time to go, so havasu riding this season will be it this year... keep it simple with what seems like a pretty good size group (and growing), that will reduce odds of peeps messing up their shit and possibly holding everyone up. just my .02.

What's the lowdown on driving a CA registered SxS in AZ? Do the cops out there pay any attention to what plate you have? Or do they even care? I want to take the new Yamaha out there and do some exploring, but I don't want to get hassled for not having an AZ plate.

As a side note, is there a direct route from the Pirates Den area of the strip to the desert bar? If anybody has GPS files for any of these good rides, it would be cool if you posted them up.
