I have the Traxxas DCB and the V that are for sale. Also have matching smaller vees for younger ones and an intermediate one. If anyone wants one or all shoot me a PM.

I’m interested, know nothing about RC stuff but it would be fun running around the canal behind the house in Florida.

Like I have mentioned in another thread, unless you are willing to jump in the water or have some other form of boat retrieval, like a kayak or something, I would recommend a self-righting rc boat option...or at the very minimum a v-hull...the cats tend to flip alot easier and you will spend more time retrieving it.

Best advice here.

They were not used much. At the time they were 500/ea batteries ad charger not included. The batteries I got went bad/swelled. Tried to warranty and the company went BK and could not get anything. I will let the boats and charger go for 500 and add in the little boats for 100 extra. The little boat are still too much for a pool. They are in Placerville, CA. I am down in Sacramento quite a bit and can deliver/meet up.

Mine and my son’s, the big one blew the motor a couple weeks ago…
I just bought the same one (Sonicwake) for the river this summer, what sold me is the self righting feature. We will see how it goes, and what I need to upgrade!

I love it, I hadn’t ran it in about a year and the motor was extremely hard to turn, hooked some batteries to it and ran it anyways. It lasted about 10 minutes before it locked up, oh well.

They are extremely stable and the self righting feature allows for pretty much worry free operation.

Wish I was closer. I would be all over these.

At the boat pond in mission bay years ago a guy had a fishing pole with a tennis ball that he could cast out and reel in his boat

I did that with my old 3.5cc boat. These guys go to a limp when batteries are low.

Tip for traxxas owners, glue styrofoam on lid wiped out Spartacus at 58 mph, batteries hanging out, everything dunked, and no matter what upgrade they are fast enough to eat the rudder water inlet, or i just overkilled it. At 6s power motor can still be acceptable to heat. Still love 25' rooster tail. Sorry running 2" pitch brass balanced prop

This one has the stock prop but rooster is bigger than the DCB. The clip was left out of cover and it flew off in the pong at the HOA. Luckily I had a kid that could go after it for me. I did also have the issue with the pickup. It blew off the top of the rudder before it goes through the transom. They are fun to run alongside the boat at the river but with the huge wakes I still enjoy running on smooth water with a little wind chop. Scale wise even a flat bottom wake is like a 4 foot roller.....

Is there a hard case out there that someone makes for the large cats? I have been putting mine under one of the pontoon seats but it would be nice to throw it in the locker

In the other thread, i bought a square bag from Amazon then built out the inside with 1/2” pvc and made a cradle inside. Boat rides great in there that way.
