Why is it that you don't post?

I remember when I signed up on hot boat just to gather information on my jet boat. I never really posted. Then I found the audio section and started posting in there helping people with their questions. Nowadays I pretty much post everywhere.

What stops you from posting?

For me it was not knowing anyone.

Naww i dont go to havasu much. have done desert storm a few times and monster bash 1 time in my buddy' s boat.
I run a Cobalt boat so i feel like i do not fit into the Pref. boat crowd. (Wake board tower also)
Have met a few peeps on here ( joker and 3 Queens on mojave) walt and rick at monster bash ( ummm you owe me a beer and mini kat ( damn that guy can talk .
Hope to get a invite to the desert storm party at RD 's place during desert storm. staying at the nautical.

I hear what you are saying, but at the same time its hard to take technical advice from someone who could not pass third grade spelling and grammar! I have seen many people who are probably highly intelligent but cant spell for shit try and give advice on the boards. On a side note, I had to laugh one day when a member who has been around since hotboat came around asking what was a good spell check program to use because his was no longer working. This was the same asshat who came in to a thread like a fucking mr spell it all lambasting every one for not being able to spell.

. . . for the same reason I do not have a Facebook page. Everything posted online stays there forever, accordingly, I am very selective in what I say. If you have ever been through a legal deposition, you know a good plaintiff lawyer can find stuff, especially out of context, and make you look very bad.

Bottom line, no reason to shoot yourself in the foot.

I would not even consider posting in some of these threads, that whole RR stuff got old months ago. Some of that stuff is just revolting, but it's a free country, everyone gets to run their mouth, but that 's just me and nobody is holding a gun to your head making you read some of this stuff.
