What a random fun night last night and it all happened by chance.
first I got a last minute call to do some hoop netting for lobsters in the Long Beach harbor. I had all the gear on my boat from last weekend so when I got the call Sunday morning I was ready. We headed out of Alamitos Bay to get some bait from Nachos and he only had squid. I had some mackerel on board so we were just going to use that. For some reason I thought it would be fun to run over to San Pedro bait to get some sardines and try some new spots. We got the bait and notice something happening on land near the bait barge. We Found out it was a punk concert, and it was NOFX's last concert ever. We decided to hoop next to the concert.
So picture this; out on the water, beautiful night with light wind, Dodger game on the radio, NOFX live in concert, two of us ended up with 7 lobsters, 2 of them were brothers and weighed 9.5 pounds each. What a great random night, and I was home in bed by 11pm
