I love good customer service. I think everyone does. Add quality customer service and real good boat service and its amazing. I just want to say the my experiences with Prestige Marine and Chris Hamlin have been off the charts. My boat will only visit 2 shops from now on. Prestige marine and Shockwave.
Our 2nd time out on the boat a saturday, our fuel pump bit the dust. Just got a crappy fuel pump from Mercury. We were floating in the middle of the lake around 3 pm. Bob from Shockwave called Prestige and told us to get it there asap. By the time we were towed in and on the trailer it was 5:15pm. Prestige was closed for the day. But we drove to the shop and there was the whole staff waiting for us. Diagnosed the problem and told us the bad news. They said they would try their best to get it warranted and get us on the water sunday. Got a call at 10:30 am Sunday morning saying the boat was ready to go! WOW
The saturday before Desert Storm we rolled into prestige hoping Chris had a second to talk about our issues. We werent getting the top speed out of our boat. We didnt know if it was driver error or what. Chris started doing some measurements hopped in the boat reconfigured our vessel view and gave us some tips. This took a good hour. He sent us on our way without charging us a dime. He even said he was going to try an meet us the next day to do a test run with him driving. That didnt happen cause hell it was Desert Storm week and this guy had some big customers in town. But he still took his time to call us and check in and see where we were at. Unreal
When DS was over we knew we wouldnt be back until this coming weekend. I gave chris the keys to the house and when he had time he was gonna pick up the boat do a service and hopefully get a test run or two in with a different prop. Chris calls me this morning after picking up the boat yesterday. Says dude with your 29p i was running 79/80. i put a 30 on and was running 82. Which is what we thought our boat should run. Our boat was laid up extra heavy cause we wanted the best ride possible. We arent speed demons. So i tell Chris well it makes sense. add me and pops fat ass and thats a hell of a lot of weight along with our beer haha. Chris said the boat ran great and everything looks good so basically for pops and I it was driver error haha.
Anyhow Chris stayed in contact with us the entire step of the way. Serviced our boat but more than that took unreal care of two dumb new boaters with no clue. I cant say enough about this guy. Id recommend Prestige marine to anyone!
