I love good customer service. I think everyone does. Add quality customer service and real good boat service and its amazing. I just want to say the my experiences with Prestige Marine and Chris Hamlin have been off the charts. My boat will only visit 2 shops from now on. Prestige marine and Shockwave.

Our 2nd time out on the boat a saturday, our fuel pump bit the dust. Just got a crappy fuel pump from Mercury. We were floating in the middle of the lake around 3 pm. Bob from Shockwave called Prestige and told us to get it there asap. By the time we were towed in and on the trailer it was 5:15pm. Prestige was closed for the day. But we drove to the shop and there was the whole staff waiting for us. Diagnosed the problem and told us the bad news. They said they would try their best to get it warranted and get us on the water sunday. Got a call at 10:30 am Sunday morning saying the boat was ready to go! WOW

The saturday before Desert Storm we rolled into prestige hoping Chris had a second to talk about our issues. We werent getting the top speed out of our boat. We didnt know if it was driver error or what. Chris started doing some measurements hopped in the boat reconfigured our vessel view and gave us some tips. This took a good hour. He sent us on our way without charging us a dime. He even said he was going to try an meet us the next day to do a test run with him driving. That didnt happen cause hell it was Desert Storm week and this guy had some big customers in town. But he still took his time to call us and check in and see where we were at. Unreal

When DS was over we knew we wouldnt be back until this coming weekend. I gave chris the keys to the house and when he had time he was gonna pick up the boat do a service and hopefully get a test run or two in with a different prop. Chris calls me this morning after picking up the boat yesterday. Says dude with your 29p i was running 79/80. i put a 30 on and was running 82. Which is what we thought our boat should run. Our boat was laid up extra heavy cause we wanted the best ride possible. We arent speed demons. So i tell Chris well it makes sense. add me and pops fat ass and thats a hell of a lot of weight along with our beer haha. Chris said the boat ran great and everything looks good so basically for pops and I it was driver error haha.

Anyhow Chris stayed in contact with us the entire step of the way. Serviced our boat but more than that took unreal care of two dumb new boaters with no clue. I cant say enough about this guy. Id recommend Prestige marine to anyone!

Let me save you the suspense Dirtbag. Robby dead had a negative experience there that ended in a lawsuit judgement deal. So now on every thread regarding Prestige he has something negative to say. I can't blame him, but on the flip side I gotta wonder when enough is enough..

gotcha....im in the customer service business myself. I wish i could do right by everyone and for the most part i think i do. But we make mistakes and sometimes you gotta pay for em. So far i have every reason to believe what i said about Chris is true. From Bob recommending him to chris going above and beyond for us..im a satisfied customer

Chris has always treated me and the Howard well. I feel that he is at the top end of the price list, but you get what you pay for. I stopped going him last year as my number one but he is still my back up shop. Absolute is my #1 as of right now.

Which power package are you running? Did you ever get any feedback on how/why the fuel pump failed?

Chris has been doing the annual service for my boat.
He isn't cheap but he is Mercury certified. Its nice to know when you get the boat back that it's done right.

Chris always took good care of me.He did my annual service on my boat every year,I put 440 hrs on the boat and not one time did the boat not start and run.The motor was a mercury 500 hp EFI....He is Mercury certified, when you consider how much time and money every trip cost..... a few extra dollars spent at the beginning of the year.. is well worth it.

Surprised me a tad as well....

I thought I had finally found a solid program at Nordic for service......I think I will give Mario over at So Cal speed and marine a try this upcoming season as he seems pretty solid.
