Looking to get a thank you gift for a friends who loves to smoke cigars. What is a good gift for someone who smokes cigars? What kind of cigars are good and where do you buy them ?

cigars are a personal preference…
I like Rocky Patel Decades, Avo, and many others, but I also love bourbon and think scotch is backwash bourbon… doesn’t mean I am right, but scaotch cant be made with out a used bourbon barrel.

Why is that relevant, just because I like something doesn’t mean your friend will.

Get him a gift card to a online cigar store.
Or a bottle of Woodford Reserve Double Oak.

Just saying

Spot on, it truely is a personal taste. Just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean your friend will like it.

Gift card 100%

Or if you insist on a nice gift. A humidor or travel one is good too

For me I like the mild Tabak. To me it just has a very smooth caramel taste

cigars are too personal, like wine. A new lighter or cutter is always nice.

Just checked out there site, damn those are nice. They have 1 for 5k. Is there a brand that produces a nice lighter that is in the $100-$200 range? The Dunhills are great but a bit more then I am thinking.

YES!

The Prometheus Magma T is an incredible lighter. They have a few different designs as well.

The one on the left is from the 70s gold with inlayed sapphire.

The silver one I bought in the in the 90s or early 2000s?

I just kind of like an old Dunhill - they really are a lifetime purchase that can be rebuilt and reused forever

Because of the mechanical nature of the silver one you can’t carry it in your pocket unless you have the leather case for it. The little fliptop would easily come open in your pocket, and all the gas would come out.

My Snap On guy gave me this for Christmas.

Works great as a lighter for home. Hard to lose or misplace like all the small ones.
