I saw it out here a couple of times awhile back.. Can't say that I have seen it in recent memory though.

I would really hope not but I do see people doing that

I have seen it, converted to an open bow.
That boat was an extra heavy layup, since JW knew Jessi was hard on his toys.

John West's build for Jesse James was a piece of art. I have no clue where it is today but I remember maybe the second owner of the boat (John) having a gas powered blender that matched it with motorcycle handle bars and throttle. We would put it up on the seawall in the channel and make drinks when having our Sunday potlucks. We ran out of gas for it once and Russ Nyland from seatow brought more gas for us.

whats with the louvers/vents in the trailer side rail? That to let out all the moisture to avoid rusting? I remember seeing a thread a while back going over all the little details like spider web accents on the bunk rails, etc... Anything custom done to the boat?

After Grads sold it, it went to Reno. They buy put a blown 540 in it and brought it to Desert Storm about 5 years ago. The guy in Reno sold it to someone in San Diego Area, I believe less power. As far as I know, he still owns it. He uses the boat in Havasu, and it has been cut into an open bow. One of the known boat shops in Havasu works on it, I just can't remember which one. LOL>
