I bought this about 4 years ago and have used it about a half dozen times. Pretty much like new. It was the biggest one Home Depot sold and I payed about $500. It looks like they’re going for $599 now. I just don’t use it so if someone has a need, let me know. Really not sure what it’s worth? @$350?

How does this work? Plug n play basically? How big of a area would it cool do you think?

hook up a water line and plug it into the wall.

It's currently 103 deg. with 11% humidity in the Key's. Here's a chart where you can see what the exhaust of the unit is expected to put out temp. wise from ambient.

If you're working in front of the unit, it'll be nice.

I have one and it works really good, I try to use cold water or toss in a block of ice to chill the water and it works much better!

If we sit out on the patio, eat dinner outside or sit out at night I usually roll it out for a cool breeze. I even use it in the garage.

It's in Havasu, North side of town. I don't have the specs on CFM and SQFT. I imagine the model number listed in the pic should be able to provide that info.

Do you guys keep it connected to the hose? Or fill it up and run it for a few hours, wait till it runs dry?, if you do how long does it take before it needs water? One came with my Havasu house, it’s like, 4x4x4 5000 cfm

I kept a hose connected to it and it would fill the pan. There's a float in the pan that keeps the water at the correct depth. I'm sure you could fill up the pan with water but I don't know how long that would last.

Is this still available?

I'm not sure at this point. One of our forum members grabbed it yesterday and took it to his place to see if it will work for his needs. I should know in a week or so.
