Pooper Scooper for Xmas

So my kid thinks it’s funny to break the pooper scooper so he doesn’t have to pick up the dog shit.

So I think I’m going to wrap up a nice new (maybe even refurbished) pooper scooper for him to play with on Christmas Day

Any pooper scooper recommendations?

We have 4 Dogs and this set up works the best! The flat blade works way better than the leaf rake deal when the dogs have the runs / soft serve!
get the metal handle one. The wood one warps and breaks faster than the metal

get him some gloves also so he knows if this one breaks he has a back up system in place!!

When my kiddo was around 5 I tasked him with dog doodie duty. Momma said he was to small and the shovel was to big and heavy so I bought a fiberglass shovel cut the handle down to his size wrapped the cut end in electrical tape and let her rip

Almost everyone in my neighborhood walks their dog and I very rarely see poop bags, so I just let the dog out the front door at 5am and leave it cracked. Dog does a hot lap around the neighborhood and…..then he comes home 5 mins later. Yep I’m that guy. Lol.

Had a discussion with the crazy cat lady up the street about this sort of thing.

Told her if I keep finding her cat shitting in my yard I was going to start leashing up Rocky and walk up there to shit in your yard. And, if he’s being a good boy I’ll let Rocky shit on the lawn too.

I can’t see it from the house, the garage or when I drive by. I only see green lawn. The landscapers mow it up each week. I don’t sweat the small “shit”. No pun intended.

I had a next door neighbor that used to do that and his dog loved my front yard. I spent a few years picking up his dogs shit in my front yard and shoveling it on to the roof of his house. Lol
