Pool table made in the USA!

So we moved into our new retirement house and the family room was begging for a pool table. Mind you none of shoot pool, in fact we were saying last night, watching us play pool is like a game of monopoly-IT NEVER ENDS! I started searching facebook, c list and retailers to get an economical pool table just for shits and giggles. I came across a little shop in Hayward CA "Admiral Pool Tables" been around for 45 years and is a one man show "Dave" He builds them from scratch all in house. Se we chatted a bit and struck a decent deal for build and install.

He showed up at 7AM and was done at 3, sure makes you feel good to know your hard earned money went straight to helping a local company make his lease payment or pay his insurance maybe even his mortgage.

I enjoy shooting pool, I can shoot pretty good but I'm no shark that's for sure. For me it's like bowling, whether you're good or bad it's just a good time.

I spent last night at the holiday inn and I still cant shoot worth a s**t! that place is a rip-off

I had some chick school me, no money exchanged just playing for the table. She broke nothing went in so my turn an I hit 4 in a row in and I never got another chance, I watched her play 2 games before me and I was sure I could beat her, she was sandbagging

I have a pool table, for the last 15 years.... might have 15 games on it. but it is awesome for folding clothes and putting suitcases for packing..... I do have a protective pad on it.... so the felt is not damaged.

Very similar story as yours. I had a big living room begging for one. Shopped around for a while, eventually found a little mom and pop shop that sold solid wood (not mdf) tables and the price was great. I’m not great at pool either but I love playing.
